you can just literally ground the TE1 wire and it should start to flash the codes. probably your best bet so you do not have to go through the entire harness to find the wire. I would just put a toggle switch in there as stated above.
Have you confirmed continuity in the wiring for the sensors you listed? If you replaced the sensors and tried another ecu it might be a wiring issue. Good luck, I know how frustrating chasing these problems is. Hang in there
If It is the return line for the heater core as it looks in that picture you should be able to weld that up. Either way you need to pull the head or entire motor
At least you are not seriously injured. I Feel you on loosing the car. An ins. Company could never compensate us for all,the work in these cars that are pretty much worthless on paper.
i am talking about my 1jz. I would love to run it through the firewall on the driver side, but I imagine id need to put a hole, and plug the one on the passenger side to do that?
on another note.
this plug is on my harness but it was never connected to anything. My ABS light is on, and my...
hey everyone. as i rebuild my harness and double check everything I wanted to try and clean up as much wiring as possible, and allow for easier installation and removal of the intake manifold.
Have any of you fellas changed your harness routing to accommodate this mission? If so where did...
I tried known good coil packs last weekend with no luck.
In my work today I found some issues with the resistor pack. The yellow wire broke right at the plug. I am going to pull the entire harness tomorrow and solder in some new connectors double check everything and hopefully put a rebuilt...
Yesterday I connected a 12 gauge ground wire from the battery - directly to the intake manifold, confirmed my TPS calibration was correct, and confirmed that my timing is at 10 degrees when jumpered. The timing increases to about 13 degress when not jumpered. I also sprayed soapy water all...
i am still having the trouble, tried new coilpacks and soldered in new connectors and they did not help. I am going to look into the ignitor and alternator next. the grounds look good, but I am going to run a huge cable straight to the block and kinda over to it just to rule that out.
this...
