    Am I missing something?

is that an A70 (supra 1jz) harness? The 2nd plug, the white one, looks like a knock sensor plug to me. They are under the lower intake manifold, and a real pita to get to.

Where to tap power and ground for AEM UNGO wideband gauge?

I usually just ground right into the chassis. I usually use the cigarette lighter power source to pull power for gauges rather than the ECU. I would hate to have an ECU issue related to taping into the 12V source. It might be fine but I am not a professional, so I have always used the...

Track Car Setup - Advice Needed!

Van. what is your experience with stainless steel brake lines? I know from my motorcycle racing experience the best bang for the buck upgrade on a race bike is stainless steel brake lines. They vastly improve feedback when fluid is changing temperature. I imagine with a heavy car like a supra...

Track Car Setup - Advice Needed!

i have no experience racing cars, but i think some ducting to the brakes would make sense( fog lamps seem like an ideal "intake"). I found the front and rear strut tower race was a cheap and did improve feedback as well. I'd imagine replacing the bushings in the subframe and suspension would...

    AC reinstall advice

what do you all recommend using to flush the evaporator and AC lines? would a receiver dryer from a closed (stock never messed with) system from a junk car work, or do you recommend a new one? when you recommend "pulling a strong vacuum" does that mean get some air movement through the lines...

Widebody: S2 front fenders and Kaze Aerocraft rear fenders (Shineautoproject Replica)

has anyone used these fenders with the bomex sides and rears? I am curious how that all lines up. can any one post high res pictures of how the gas tank, body trim, and skirts / rear fender all match up? the kit looks awesome from far away, but I would like to see some detail pictures to...

    AC reinstall advice

hey everyone. I am putting the AC back into my 87 1jz MK3. I have had the air conditioning lines, heat exchanger, fan, compressor, out of the car for almost 10 years. Besides just hooking everything back up are there any seals I should replace, or any other maintenance I should perform? I...

proper wire tuck on 86.5-92 supras

Gurley, can you comment on the removal of your heater check valve? Seems that would impair the AC and defrost ? I'd like to remove mine for looks, but I need defrost.

    Oil pressure gauge stopped reading

I thought the jza70 had an idiot light rather than a oil pressure gauge? hence the need for a 7m sender?

the sender is located on the intake side of the motor right under the AC compressor.
