id rather loose than bin my car! at least you are man enough to tell the tale. FWIW i really noticed an improvement with the adjustable sway bars on my car. But I have been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to know nothing about how a supra feels so take it with a grain of salt.

Welcome to the dark side. Hopefully your,stock turbos are still good and you get a solid motor. Are you going to do,any maintenance on the motor before the swap?

+1 if you are on 560s id also get the MKIV pump. i have one and its quiet, and reliable I also picked up one with low mileage for around $100.

Nice! I just bought a jetta sport wagen tdi for the wife. When you reflashed the ecu did your fuel economy change? We get about 43 mpg overall with our car.

I used the BIC pre 89 JZ mounts from randy 7 or so rears ago and have had great luck with them. I think i used a JZA70 tranny cross member, but honestly I cannot remember its been so long. you should take a look at the cross member, and diff hardware as well as motor mounts if you can feel...

I think you should still do a compression test. Call me crazy (you would not be the first) but I like to test my compression at least annually just to see whats going on.

That's impressive! 8 hours is no joke. Did you have any issues with heat / brake fade ect? What do you think is the weakest part of your car right now?

how is chassis stiffness easily measured? Unless there is a way to get data, rather than make claims based on empirical evidence of which the source and context of information is unknown, this conversation is going no where and we continue to derail this thread as I stupidly respond to people...

Is the difference I feel with the targa off also placebo effect? I swear my car feels different with the targa off as well.

Solid and hinged bars both are bolt on and they are very different designs in regards to stiffness. Either way I felt an improvement with my solid bars and others did not, so take it for what it is. An opinion. Let's see some pics of this race car already!
