You know you're a Supra owner when...

Can't beat a cup of noodles for 35 cents. Or the kind that you have to cook on the stove for 10 cents.

4 puck, 6 puck or street disk? What would you go with?

IMHO I would go with a Street(> Stage 3) style clutch. My hp goals are fairly modest(450 rwhp) and my Supra will be used mainly as a weekend cruiser when it's 'finished'. I just don't want my leg to get too tired running down 75 to the beach.

    retiring the supra...

Hate to see another Supra owner give up. Compared to my 85 Celica the Supra isn't very high maintenence at all. Most of the problems we have are because of the age of the car, not the fact that the Supra itself is high maint. Especially an NA. So far I've owned my 87 Turbo for ~18 months and...

IMPORTANT: The future of SM - adding infrastucture.

I would love to see that. Grim: If someone were to edit the PHP to adjust the ratings, it might be worthwhile to add a couple different ratings users can get 'rep points' for, like seperate ratings for tech tips and for sale. This way it would be easier for new members to know if someone can...

A history lesson: Germany before, during and after the 2.WW

Funny that you mention Babel(Babylon). The Old Testaments version does do a lot to mention other peoples in the land and where they came from(which tribe descended from which lineage). The OT almost reads like a 'history of the world' in many places. Many scholars came together to create it and...

    bellevue supras

Today was my worst start. All of 10 seconds in 21F weather with ice all over it. I've noticed about ~6 different MK3s in the Chattanooga area, and none of them are here either. Other than one who wouldn't even answer my PM as to which one he was(white 89+, black 88-, red 89+, red 89-...). And...

A history lesson: Germany before, during and after the 2.WW

You posted while I was typing, but if you read through the Old Testament the fact that Christianity sprouted from Judaism is mindnumbingly(sp?) clear. In fact, upon finding that site I plan on using it to teach my fiance this information.

A history lesson: Germany before, during and after the 2.WW

Most of the early followers of Jesus were Jews who thought that he was the Messiah(personally I'm open minded about it, but have enough doubts to keep me a Jew). The biggest link that should point people to the fact that Christianity is a continuation of Judaism is the Bible. Q: Where did...

A history lesson: Germany before, during and after the 2.WW

Haven't seen the movie, so I couldn't tell you how they tried to portray it, but I can tell you what found out watching 'History Chanell', reading books, and learning in Hebrew School(like Sunday school) at a young age(5-12). Jesus was Jewish. Christianity sprouted from the Jews who believed...

A history lesson: Germany before, during and after the 2.WW

I don't know the exact years(hold while I go google them): Chinese Calendar: 4704 = 2006 AD Hebrew Calendar: 5766 = 2006 AD Hebrew calendar predates the Chinese by just over 1000 years(and a lot can happen in that time span). Did you know it was the Jews that built the Great Pyramids in...

New proprieters of 7mpower.com = Failures

400 is a good 'entry' limit. Then the guys with 402 will feel like those of us who are currently mostly stock, like a whole new beginning watching the 600+hp guys talk about what their doing.

New proprieters of 7mpower.com = Failures

Great idea. Maybe a special 'hidden' section for those that make over 400 rwhp, where a mod would have to be present at or in some way verify the dyno. And then extra photo/video space for those members to post hq pics and list their mods/buildups... I think you're on to something there.

A history lesson: Germany before, during and after the 2.WW

It's not just the last 2000. We were slaves in Egypt long before Christianity ever existed. A lot of people don't know that the Jewish(Hebrew) Calendar has been around over 5700 years. And we were a nomadic tribe for quite some time before the calendar, which is what makes Judaism a race as...

IMPORTANT: The future of SM - adding infrastucture.

Very nice. I can't wait to see this put into effect. Better Mods/Vendors = Better Community Sure those of us in the general public help make this community great by being here and making the bulk of the posts, but it's our Mods that keep it all flowing smoothly.

Good luck shaking your stereotype. I'm a Jew and I don't hate any of you. We even hosted a German HS exchange student when we lived in Kansas City. I guess growing up a stereotype allows you to realize that although stereotypes are based from somewhere, not all of any...

    PC needs a tune up

Not all gamers are as hardcore as you are. :icon_eek: Personally, I used to be that way, but have been too busy between Supra maintenance, the fiance, work... that the only time I really get to spend on the PC has been spent vegging out surfing the net or playing solitaire and MUDs(yeah...

    PC needs a tune up

Linux for a browsing/word processing/web server type machine. WinXP Pro for games. If you like the idea of a free OS like linux, but aren't sure about being technical enough try Ubuntu(www.ubuntu.com). They are based on Debian linux and their moto is 'Linux for Humans'. Even my non-techie...

I Ask Everyone here to read this Post!

I didn't believe in banning him for posting it in OT, but putting it here deserves AT LEAST a harsh warning. Especially since most of us check SM while at work(where I currently am, IT support is dead this week) and the picture isn't very 'work friendly' it could easily get someone fired, just...

I agree. Let's keep the threats like 'You and me can take this offline now, b/c its clear you are down to personal Attacks..' off of this thread. She was pushing your buttons because she knew she could get that out of you to help prove her point, not to mention that you(PIONEER) provoked her...

Temp Gauge Problem. (Hopefully its just the gauge...)

I'm having the exact symptoms you have. I never really thought much of it before though. I do have an extra symptom as well, even in the heat of summer(90-95F here) it takes a good while to warm up and doesn't seem to get as hot as it did before I had the BHG(by about 1/16-1/8"). It takes...
