    Code 24 & 31 Thrown

Well, if it's anything like the MAFT Pro setup, the VPC isn't getting a signal out to the ECU as soon as the ECU is looking for one... thus the error. The only way to get rid of thiese codes in this case is to power the VPC up a second or two BEFORE the ECU gets power. Does the VPC supply a THA...

    Coolant in spark plug valley

Check the coolant hoses running to and from the ISC and throttle body (the throttle body hoses are the ones in question if the coolant is only in the rear of the galley).

    Vibrating/grinding brakes...

The "grinding" is most likely the ABS actuator, it's common. If the pads were so far gone that you had metal on metal contact you'd notice grinding most of the time, not only when the ABS is active. Regardless, it is worth checking the pads.

possible a bhg will leak out of block?

Heh, With that hose, I think I'd just do the head gasket while I was at it... On top of that hose, it's not that much more work. :icon_razz

I might see about adding one after this. :3d_frown: If someone were to post a cautionary note to the newbies in the MKIII section concerning the need to exercise caution in taking advice from others. It'd be just fine... Won't even complain if a polite example (including dyno reports) were...

    code 12

Well, have you actually checked anything specified for that code? I'd start with making sure the harness running to the distributor is securely connected and that the wires are in good shape. It seems that problems at the distributor are the most common cause. Good luck! :D

    7mge no start

When you lock the doors with the key does the "Security" LED in the gauge cluster light up? Given what you've already looked at I'd measure the voltage at the small wire to the starter while someone turns the ignition. If it goes high, this tells you right away if you can forget about it being...

    7mge still no start.

Don't start a new thread for an ongoing problem unless there's some really good reason for it... makes it hard for those of us just coming in to keep trackof what's been done. The original thread: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111830 If I have anything to add I will post there.
