    I don't remember how the ECU responds to that error... best not to have any errors if possible. I recommend buying and installing the sensor... Ask around in the classifieds section for a used one; You should be able to get one inexpensively.

    You do not need to disconnect the battery to reset the diagnostic codes... well, not if everything is wired up as was planned by Toyota (not a given in any swap situation). Code 32 is not an AFM related code in the GTE... as the manual says. The HAC sensor is inside the ECU on 89 and newer ECUs...

    As long as you're mounting it pre-turbo functionality shouldn't be affected at all.... unless you add several feet of piping anyway. Where are you wanting to move it and why?

    Thanks for the info Amichie. The only time I figure there may be a benefit to adjusting the activation point would be in engines whose volumetric efficiencies have been thoroughly changed from stock... even then, given the limitations of the 7M-GE, I seriously doubt there'd be much improvement.

    Oh, just trying to log its activity.... my system isn't the best example to use for logging it though (turbo and all). You sure the problem is still the connector? If you treak the female pins does the car behave for a while? The pins really shouldn't keep spreading unless the unit is moved...

    Oh, I was just seeing if you were still awake. ;) The pins inside the plug on the harness are split... you actually want to press them closed tighter as they slide around the pins in the Pro's receptacle. Just insert a small sewing pin on each side of the plug's pins... it doesn't take much...

I suspect it may be due to the replacement of the VAF with something that's actually capable of seeing and reporting those small and fast changes that you see at low...

Sparky's N/A is in fantastic shape and is almost as quick as my N/A was running S/D and tuned. So it's the best comparison...
