So I'm sitting at a traffic light about to pull onto HWY285 and I see a slightly battered, white MKIII with a CF hood... no, wait, it's just a black hood.... lol! Anyway, so this guy moves over and pulls in behind the truck that's behind me. I'm thinking great! a little fun on the highway, this...
The biggest difference you'll really feel are just from changing the resonator and muffler out for unbaffled types. Have you found a resonator and muffler yet?
It was explained to me by a Toyota tech, a VERY long time ago, that the screw in the FPD is used to set the damper's opening pressure at the factory. Unless you know what that pressure is and have to tools to adjust it while tuning it it's a bad idea to (pardon the pun) screw with it.
To say "no EGR" is inaccurate. It employs an internal EGR system. The valve timing is adjusted as needed to keep inert exhaust gasses in the cylinder or to allow some to flow back in at the end of the exhaust cycle. Downside to this setup is it doesn't cool as well, the upside is that it is far...
So I've been thinking I'd really like to get an eccentric throttle cable pulley for my TB. I don't know if anyone makes one already or if I'd have to get one fabbed. My low throttle angle responsiveness is just too sensitive for my tastes.
So, the questions that remain are:

Anyone remember who it was who was rerouting and segmenting their harnesses? I never heard or saw how that turned out.
A rewrap is a good idea.... especially if you're using it as motivation to check the integrity of the old wiring. ;)
Once or twenty times... boosting without sufficient fueling can slaughter an engine in seconds. And you're doing all this without the correct FPR and no idea how much fuel is actually getting to the engine? :3d_frown:
Wait... You're running the N/A plugs? Well, that could be the whole...
Yup, that's a problem.
Have you got the connector for it? Is there a module connected there that's a different color? Do your head lights work and rise and retract properly (that's also controlled by the integration relay #2, the one pictured)?
Did you get my paypal info? ;)
And go to...
The issue is definitely further upstream of the cluster and the tail lamp failure module. If there's no power at the fuse then you need to inspect the SOURCE for the fuse... so.. look at the tail lamp relay and the integration relay. Ground the Green wire with the white stripe that runs to the...
Not if the plugs are covered in WET oil, on the top or it's on the threads. If fixing your headgasket cleared it up it's only because you had to reseal the valve covers in doing the job.
Funny, I had an argument over this on another forum last week...
