Well I finally got the E-manage installed fully, with all options, fuel injector harness, ignition control, pressure sensor........ Other mods are custom BIC twin GT28R turbo system, twin...
Yeah :eek2:
But it should be done in four weeks or so. He still has to send his to Japan and get it back :D
I am just messing with Ric anyways. Its all good :)
Tell ya what Ric. My car with the AEM against yours with the Mines. Dig or roll I am your huckleberry :) Enough chit chat..... Ready on the left? Ready on the right? Lets get it on!
Under the above conditions, why would you want to spend $1700 on a Mines when a $350 emanage blue will work fine? I went back and forth with the piggyback vs standalone setup but I need at least 680cc injectors with a 67mm on a 2J. The 1J ECU will have timing completely jacked trying to pull...
They should be able to. The G-Force ECUs were able to do large injectors and such. I would be very interested in this if it were in the $700-$850 range. I was just stating that at the given cost, standalone makes more sense.
I am not bent out of shape. But this is in an open forum where people can post their comments. He is not partners with Manitec and if it is a product then move it to the vendor section. I don't post my comments about products in a vendor section because that is their place of business. I...
"Millions of dollars in developement" that still rolled out of production with a lean spot on the OBD1 ECUs between 4,000-4,500 rpm (USDM 2J). Just using this as an example that even Toyota doesnt get the code done right all the time. The base tune is thrown out the window when it is modified...
I can get an AEM for $1450 new and a tune is $360 from Alpha in Tampa including dyno time. The ECU is also kind a hobby. I look forward to learning more about EFI tunning and tweaking it down the road.
$1700 bucks to modify a stock ECU. That is a too much....sorry.
Nothing to elaborate. Cams are the best upgrade to the 1JZ. Really opens the top end up on these revvy little beasts. Need a set of Crower small core 272s. PM me.
You are preaching to the choir brotha. I didn't like the architect role for the stint that I did it. Although I still perform the same function, I gave up the title to focus on lab and solution developments. My company has being buying a lot of other companies lately, so I have been real busy...
A few of us here know what they are and do.....
Meeting after meeting after meeting after white board after vendor selection after RFP, after blah blah blah :aigo:
Yeah, I was in RTP in North Carolina. Salaries were higher and more jobs were available for sure. I was going to take a position at Cisco Advanced Services and move back to RTP, but my wife likes the beach and Florida. I am kinda liking the climate and there is no traffic here in the...
I was already a Sr Engineer for Verizon. Well, they were MCI/WorldCom but Verizon bought them. I work for a large Enterpirse company now. Salary wise, I have pretty much peaked for this industry unless I went to work as Cisco instructor for Global Knowledge or consulting but that requires to...
Good deal. I am a Sr Network Engineer and mainly focus on large enterprise/ISP routing design. Trying to decide whether to go back and get a Masters or do another CCIE in voice. I am currently CCIE certified in Routing and Switching track and the Security track. CCIE # is 13083
