That adds alot to the thread. Let me guess, you rebuilt your 1J when you got it right? Thats what I thought. I am willing to guess there are only a few people, if any, who actually rebuilt their 1J. When it goes, they get another longblock and run it.

MKIV ECU is better suited for the 2J if he is going single. Also, you dont have to extend it.

If worse comes to worse, just get a USDM MKIV harness, MKIV ECU, and a ge or gte pan. If you are wanting to use the Aristo harness lmk cause I got one that I will sell cheap with the Aristo ECU. I bought a MKIV harness. Chris

That is a nice unit but 900 rwhp on any piggyback is a bad idea. That is standalone terrritory.

The 1J ECU is not a good setup for the 2J. The factory ECU is set for 380cc which will cause timing problems with larger injectors on a singled 2J. I opted to run a MKIV harness, MKIV ECU, and MAP ECU. Chris
