Yeah, I was being a jerk :) Its not a bad setup but I wouldnt run a knockoff turbo and wastegate. I bought an generic manifold and intercooler for my swap, so I cant knock it. It's more of the fact that RIC has dogged on the eBay stuff so badly and then he recommends an entire eBay kit.

Dang, if I would have saw that kit I would have saved at least 6k on my 2J swap. Why did I ever get rid of my 1J. All that is needed to complete this kit is a Texas Instruments solar powered ECU with a built in calculator. I would have been all over this quality setup :rofl:

I got mine on eBay for like $315. Did a submit best offer and the guy took it. With shipping it was a little over $350

You will have to run a full MKIV harness and ECU or Aristo harness and ECU if you plan to run in sequential mode. Not sure if you were using a 1J harness and ECU.

Its not about a "love-fest", it was more of providing you feedback. Go buy the xs-power then. But ok... the xs-power is a piece of junk, at least the one I saw. Welds were sloppy and the collectors were jagged and had slag. I would run an xs-power intercooler though.
