the ones I have? well my number one cylinder had low compression, the pistons looked like they were getting hot. (bad tuning + too much boost) and #1 has a very small crack on the 2nd compression ringland which is probably why I only have 75psi in that cylinder. No there are not any...
I have a set of stock pistons, but they are number 2's. Just trying to find out if anyone has ever measured their NPR's. It looks like I am going to have to buy a set and check myself. If they wont do then I will just re-sell them. I'll post measurements in here for future reference.
I understand that, but I am trying to get this done with just honing a little bit, Just need to double check on what about the measurements are on those to see if my oil clearances will be ok.
Have all my measurements on my block, and was looking to replace all my pistons. I was wondering what I can expect as far as measurements on the standard sized NPR pistons. If anyone has measured their own or has the factory measurements or something I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

There is a chart in the tsrm that shows the exact thickness of each bearing. Theres 5 to choose from. So I am calculating everything and making sure all my clearances are within the tsrm spec .0012-.0019 (hopefully this is the correct way to do this). They have changed slightly but not enough...
Yeah, I have done alot of reading aswell as asked a friend that just went through this with his engine. Its a little complicated at first, but I got the hang of it. Really Im not going off the number I have stamped on the block, because that is when the block was brand new and I am sure they...
Im planning on ordering toyota select fit bearings, and I understand how to get to the correct size and everything. I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on how you measure the main bore diameters? Do you take multiple measurements to see if they are out of round? Do you take a...
I have a VPC and F-CON already in my car, but I wanted to upgrade to 550 injectors. I noticed there was 2 seperate chips for the F-con for 550 injectors, and there was also one chip for just the vpc and 550 injectors. Im wondering which 1 chip do I need or do I need 2 chips. One for the vpc...
Yeah im pretty sure they are 99/01's. Unfortunately they should be 8 inches, Atleast my 99 cobra's were. But I didnt have a problem fitting 275's on the rear with very little buldge.
Yeah, your wheels look great man. I dont think they look cheap at all. If they didnt have the mustang tag to them he probably would say otherwise. Ofcoarse everyone has their opinions...
Just a FYI typically mustang GT rims are usually 8 inches wide. Cobra rims can come in all different kinds of sizes. Most OEM cobra wheels are either 8 or 9 inches wide. The most popular cobra rim is the 95 cobra r wheel which is usualy 9 inches wide. Offsets are usually somwhere in the mid...
First off, I want to say that my car may have a upgraded fuel pump that I dont know about, Hopefully I will pull the tank soon to see. The reason I beleive I may have a aftermarket fuel pump is because the car had the J tube drilled out before I bought it. The car doesnt have an aftermarket...
