To be honest you can buy those in replica form for 125 bucks each at http://www.americanmuscle.com/silver-sc-17x9.html
However, Those ones you show are originals I believe. And if you were to resell, you might find someone that is restoring their old saleen or something that will pay more...
Thanks, I am using your mod btw. So everything should be set up correctly through the aem. Its funny I can set my timing light to 2 cycle and it seems to work properly actually. Im just going to keep the timing light advance on zero and match it to the damper like a simple light. I will...
Alright that might be the problem. The timing light that I used was a complicated one, pretty expensive light. It had choices for 2 cycle/ 4 cycle and digital advance. I will double check with a simple timing light to make sure its correct. Also im running a 7m with the stock damper.
I am having some issues with my timing on my aem ems. Ive noticed that my timing map looks more advanced than others and I am trying to understand why. I double checked today and pulled my plugs to make sure I am not detonating. Everything looks ok.
The major problem is that I will sync...
There were plenty of ~3700+lb 03-04 cobras running around with one piece driveshafts. Id be interested in knowing the difference in length of the driveshaft though.
After looking at some of the other timing maps, I am a little worried about mine. I am going to pull plugs again and see how they look. I'm going to check my timing sync as well and make sure everything looks right. Perhaps the startup calibration is pretty worthless to even start with as far...
To tell you the truth... The guy who tuned my car does a lot of chip cars and is really good at those. However, I don't think he really knows AEM that well.
I have changed the tune a lot since he has messed with it. The knock detection on the aem isn't all that great IMO. My engine is...
Here is mine. I think my tuner just used the startup calibration ignition map and just slightly changed it. I'm sure it could use a lot of work still.
Edit: 91 octane tune supposedly
Just wondering if you ever got around to sending the files. I never received anything and am still interested if you have them. My car is running pretty good now after injection phase changes.
I just recently bought into a AEM v1. I must say that I had alot of issues with it. Including sending it back for repairs which did fix the hardware problems I had with it. My biggest complaint is the start up calibration. They are horrible. Also you are going to need a tuner that not only...
I ran a fcon/vpc combo without a fcd and it worked fine. I never saw fuel cut either, and I ran up to about 20psi. Not sure this helps you, as you are asking just about the fcon itself.
I also would like to know about the trans. Who did your stall for you? My car is a slug off the line with the stock stall :( I'm guessing you have shimmed the accumulators and have a trans cooler? With the 4.30s are you going to need to go into overdrive pretty soon if you start trapping...
Been a long while since I have updated. I was getting tired of the old hks piggyback that I had. So I decided to go with the AEM EMS. While I was at it I decided to go with a DH61 ignitor and coils from a IS300. I has a lot of issues with the AEM at first especially with the crappy start up...
You are probably just going to detonate earlier. What I dont understand is why you wont let us know how your running e85 on the stock injectors/ecu with no piggy backs and getting the correct A/F ratio's. You can claim that you don't want someone to try it and break something all you want, but...
Oh OK, I don't understand why my car wont idle at all at 24 fuel teeth. Its all over the place no matter where I put the fuel map. I went ahead and changed the phasing to 4 0 8 4 8 0 with 12 fuel teeth... How does that sound. Isn't that similar to your setup with 24 teeth. It seems to run...
Interesting, I tried this setup with 24 fuel teeth. It would start I had to modify my fuel map some, but It wouldnt stay consistent a/f ratios would be ok for a second then jump all over the place and repeat. I however tried this same phasing with 12 fuel teeth and got it to run pretty good...
Sounds good, I appreciate it! I don't really want to copy all of it, More just want to get an idea of what everything should look like. I'm sure there's many settings that the tuner didn't change that need to be changed. The timing map is what im worried about, mine seems all over the place...
Well, I will keep tinkering with the phasing, but so far I cant get it to run well with anything but the 000000. It looks like its going to require quite a bit of change in my whole fuel map to fix the phasing properly. I have lost faith in the tuner I used, because he didn't seem to change...
