Project Underway (Just a pre-build parts round up thread)

IJ had it but went back to air to air. He said the size of the equipment would be impractical for a street car. unless you can keep the water iced the real world efficiency isnt that much greater then a good air to air setup IMO.

Sealent to use on OEM headgasket and wastegate flapper pin question

Its not a matter of the height dffrence its a matter of 3 pieces of metal put together with nothing to seal them. Theres a gasket that goes around the back of the timing cover but at the top you need to use the FIPG.

    maft gen2

I have it and its a great piggy-back. Its pretty adjustable compared to others and allows the use of mass air flow sensors. Also Wideband tracking is great too, Cant go wrong when the car tunes itself. It will work with stock equipment and with most GM MAF's either the 3", 3.5" and aftermarket...

Sealent to use on OEM headgasket and wastegate flapper pin question

Stock Graphite gasket uses no sealant. install dry. Though you must put either Toyota FIPG or some type of RTV on the 2 spots where the front timing cover meets the block on the headgasket surface. If you do not you will loose approx a half quart of oil from that spot(s) per day driving around.

    Lower ball Joints!!!

Definatly change immediately if you feel there shot. The lower arm is the load bearing arm witch means the weight of the car is constantly pulling them apart. when i changed mine i was shocked. i could move the ball around in the cup.
