Ron R's car for me. its just so clean and subtle. Its like he did everything so nice and clean its looks how it would be if toyota did it themselves.
Thats what im goin for, Someday.......
an 8.8 or 9" wont bolt up either.
The stock rear has proved to be plenty strong where as ive seen people blow up stock 8.8's on 300 horsepower with a good clutch and sticky tires, Ofcourse thats stock.
I dont think theres a reason to change unless your looking for a solid axle. if thats...
well im unsure about the new tial but the old one was opened by a combination of intake vacuum and boost pressure working together to open the valve.
The only reason i can see it leaking is bad seals. Other then that it shouldn't be able to be forced open by boost pressure because the same...
The spring wont effect the bov from opening under a wot high boost situation, the spring just biases the piston.
If your running 30psi of boost, that 30 psi is applied to both sides of the piston, one side from the intercooler pipe and the other side from the reference vac line coming from...
Just dont forget about the 2 extra cylinders pushing at the same time. one more push per rotation can help in the torque department.
Im not defending the v8 or anything, 7m FTW.
Also airspeed has to be high enough inside the exhaust pipe in order to even create the venturi effect in the first place, thats why i thought it was only a race car thing where constant high velocity exhaust flow was actually achieved.
youll be glad you did, it logs everything (tps, rpm, afr, boost with sensor, egt with sensor, and you can hook it up to the VF output on the user input so in addition to whats happening you can see what the TCCS is doing real time in relation to whats goin on) together and has selectable display...
Me? im ross 8.5's but im running a little thicker of a head gasket so maybe a touch lower.
Curious as to what compresson brents running, i feel like theres something either i didnt see in the mods hes posted or something im missing that will give me that "ohhh...thats why he made that much...
eh yea ok, but zip ties and screw hose clamps wouldn't be used in this application, at least i hope not.........
Braided line is too expensive for looks.
no need for braided, i don't get why people spend the money when a quality rubber line will do. we don't run 1500psi of oil pressure.
except nitrous lines, that i guess is kinda necessary.
no cams or head porting? only thing adding power is turbo, intercooler, ffim, fuel, tune and hardpipes?
Sorry, I feel like theres something im missing like cams or a nice port job. awesome numbers for that turbo and boost.
is this a serious question? there a supporter of the forum......
i dont think supracentral would give them a section if they screwed people, especially ones on this forum.
rebuilt stock 89, ill have to get back to you on what crank, its been a while since i noticed. Never had anything balanced, stock rotating assembly with ross pistons. putting eagles in now so ill find out if theres a difference.
With my solids the only time i get vibrations is at a stop in drive (im auto), in the door panels. its only when stopped in drive at idle. Any other time its unnoticeable. If im driving its smooth and if im off idle or at idle in neutral. If i were 5 speed id never get a rattle.
Its ok, there pretty to me. ;)
The engine sits in the car without issues, i could see it maybe sitting a little higher from not compressing the rubber (marginally) but i have had no problems with it.
