Off topic slightly, What exactly does the TCCS determine with oil pressure, I know it gets the signal, and the EWD shows that and says it uses the reading (http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=044) but i cant figure out what it would do with it.

The point was if your looking to buy parts you post in the want to buy section. That would be like posting a for sale thread here and justifying it because theres someone in this section looking to buy the item.

If you do it itll be awesome, but its something very challenging.

A lot of people have tried but it's very difficult to do because of the way the targa is designed. You would have to either strip the targa and modify both the targa and the body for a quick release setup or make something that bolts in between the targa and body that is quick release capable...

Hey if it works out and its cheaper then replacing thats great for sure, but advance sells racks for $218 with a $60 core charge. Whatever works though! Im all for rebuilds as i like taking things apart and seeing how it works. :icon_bigg

Mine has same issue, i have to unlock from the passenger side or else no start. I think im going to rewire the switch to either another location or remove the TDS completely.

Would it be cheaper to just put an aftermarket rack in? I dont really know what they go for. I was thinking about doing this as well, my power steering is a little weak. I already know i need a new pump though. Already rebuilt the pump with new seals to stop it from leaking, but now it whines.
