Fwiw I had my car out today roughly ~50f ambient. IAT in inlet to turbo and was seeing 90f temps while driving. No temp sensor after IC so who knows but that's intake underhood temps.
Problem is im using a HP E-vectra and it only has one serial port, not only that but no expansion slots at all :(
I guess ill just have to deal with it untill i get a better solution.
Well I have an actual serial port but my zeitronix wideband is hooked up threw that port, leaving only the USB ports left.
Connection wise it works good as long as I don't turn off the computer.
Hey all, I have a USB to serial that i run for the 8860 and i have a computer in the car.
The problem im having is if i leave the cable plugged into the computer, when i restart i get the "Found New Hardware" Dialog and it wants to reinstall it.
I point it to the installation CD witch i...

When i was putting them on i know theres no way there coming off unless there physically pulled off.
As I said, compression causes temprature rise, at 14.7psi the temperature would effectively double from compression alone. Add in the ineffeciencies of the turbo and intercooler result in that. Imsure the air your turbo is compressing isn't the same as outside temperature because I'll bet your...
Just did the swap from stock to 3kgt ignitor, Night and day difference. Running 2.125ms dwell with EMS 8860. Recommend to anyone with standalone, 113 dollars from advance auto.
100 degrees isnt that hot considering what the air has been threw, If you were N/A and had an inside the engine bay air filter you would most likely have the same IAT's.
Like it was said intercooleres arent 100% efficient, neither are turbos, theres going to be heat generated.

Click the post start tab and see where the red line is, thats where its looking for a start up value. Lower that value and lower the Decay seconds.
Because it...
