    Dunno how well this will simulate an actual head being clamped down as to give the Boring head access you lose most of the Heads structural integrity. The plate my guy uses is 3" thick Steel. Be interested to see how it goes and very interested in the boring 6x 3.3" holes through a head :)

    Mine was a trashed Spherical joint in the rear upright allowing the rear to flop around under power.

    BD: Bad very bad in a used bore as it doesn't conform like a Flex hone will so you get lots of highs and lows.

    It will only flow as much as the point of greatest restriction IE: the smallest hole in the system will govern flow. LOTS of small holes in the stock IC Pipes...

    Until you make power/heat then the T Stat is open and doing nothing apart from slowing down flow.

    Lower temp T Stat will help out in as much as you'll get a little more time before the cooling system plateaus assuming EVERYTHING is in order.
