let's see...
climate control - completely unheard of in the price segment back then, and even now it's barely getting into the lower end cars
full power seat - HA, not any new car under 20K is gonna have all the features
stereo system - some people bitch whine and complain about it not...
was the drier replaced?
was the system sucked down and converted properly?
is your IC/condenser/radiator have tons of bent fins and full of rocks?
do you have your electric fans coming on, and is your main fan functioning properly?
is your car overheating at all? (this will turn off...
*sigh*, the E-code housings aren't THAT expensive, and in the longrun, they're cheaper than any sealed beam setup.
talking about blinding YOU, I don't piss off any cops or drivers (though I may with 6000K HID's in em).
Trust me, the BEST enhancement you can reasonably do is get Hella...
the Solstice/Sky wasn't developed by GM... IIRC the Sky was made as a front engine/RWD version of the Elise. IIRC GM bought the rights to make it here (it was released as another car in europe, can't remember it's name...)
The ecotec engine ahs bee found to be VERY stout, and I believe...
I HAVE this mod done, don't do it, the fog light will BLIND you in fog now (yes this sucks BAD)
Your headlights are considered SAFETY EQUIPMENT, don't skimp on it or it will bite you in the ass...
I still can't fathom why toyota would make the oil cooler dump into the pan instead of sending it back through the system so you don't lose pressure...
somebody in the know has to get their hands on both boxes and look at the resisters, it would be an easy job to swap resisters to make it an 89+ box...
hahahaha, the one on my 82 toyota hilux was metal, and it did it's job a couple of times (more of a skid plate)
I don't have the main undercover, kinda sucks, but I haven't had any issues for puddles or overheating so far...
It's on my list of parts I'd like to get and then make a metal...
if the interior and exterior are spotless, that sounds like a good price
the 1G is supposed to be pretty durable as well, it's just the turbos seem to have the same issues as any other stock turbo, too small and don't like big boost.
get em a bit bigger and more durable and it will SCREAM...
DOT4 is mixable with DOT3, so power flushing it with tons of DOT4 will work
DOT5 is NOT mixable AT ALL, DOT5.1 is THINK is mixable, but I wouldn't chance it...
no metal sleave on the one's I've done, the metal brackets on the side of the stereo get bolted directly to the sides of the head unit...
the install kit you buy will just put a cubby hole under the stereo, it's pretty simple if you have the original stereo still...
