How to get better acceleration with a N/A

*sigh* nitrous isn't dangerous if properly installed. Dry kits make you go boom, wet kits that are properly installed and have all the safety features (i.e. NOT CHEAP) are extremely effective and powerful. Turbo's have lag, nitrous doesn't, so the hit when it comes on is much meaner than...

    WOOT BHG?, but 2jz!! yay!

not all of us have the patience to mod the 7M when the stock 2J is stouter... I myself? Well, I dumped over 3 grand into my engine and didn't even touch the block, so I'm gonna stick with the 7M...at least for this car...

How to tell if coilovers are blown??

well, the only blown bilstein I've seen was damaged (just jumped his truck off a 6' drop) and didn't rebound at all and had little to no resistance to movement...

Clutch wear, can it cause this?

exedy is usually pretty good... dunno about the site though... First off I'd check your clutch pedal freeplay as mine was tight enough to pre-load the clutch throwout and partially disengage the clutch...hence slip. Mine was glazed pretty bad but holds fine now, just takes awhile to...

How to tell if coilovers are blown??

depending on the shock design, you won't be able to compress them or they rebound back out after being compressed (I know bilsteins DON'T like to compress, and will extend themselves if left compressed)

Apexi Exhaust Silencers, anyone ever try these?

backpressure isn't really a good term, as it's really velocity and scavenging effects... you have TOO much backpressure now as you don't have velocity to scavenge the cylinders...

    oil pressure

domesics run higher oil pressure because they usually have looser tolerances so they need it dunno what an LS1 runs for oil pressure as they run VERY tight tolerances (to the point where they're quite a bit down on power until they're broken in, and they get noisy once broken in). I'm...

    Rear end

not necessarily as the diff will put more load and spool faster stock CT is a torquey turbo and spools quick, so the diff will have an advantage in using the torque. 1J has more top end pull hence the different gear ratio used in them... you match the diff to the RPMs of the engine and...
