nope, there isn't any sensors in the pads, the only reason that light will come on is in 3 cases:
-E-brake switch
-brake fluid level sensor
-along with the CEL and another light when your alternator is going out
Check the brake fluid COLD. The light came on on mine when we got that cold...
negatron, no moving of the battery for me
I don't want to run the lines, have a good sealed box, vent it to the outside, and have a kill switch installed to pass tech at a track.
My bro had one with a 350 swap (still tuned port though).
My car stock was a little slower than it. They put some crappy ass gears in them, so on the highway from a 60 punch they will move pretty quick.
Hated that the car was a rattle box though, nothing like a supra...
Yep, a very valid point.
Also, toluene raises the octane, it will NOT increase gas milage (lower octane usually gives BETTER gas milage).
People use toluene to make cheap race gas, so see it as such and not a MPG improver.
RPS 3200 = crank walk and dead engine
Not to mention their customer service absolutely sucks ass.
There is a lot more info on this over on supraforums...
If the brake light is on, you're simply low on brake fluid.
If your brakes are squeeling really bad, then the pads are too low.
Hope that helps, as more than likely the pads are fine, just need to top of the fluid...
Find some locals to help you, as working on these cars is as easy as following directions in the TSRM most of the time.
Labor ends up being the largest chunk of doing it, the parts aren't that expensive...
