    what should i get mk4supra or 350z

Supra, of course. ;) Seriously, most Mk3 drivers don't hate Mk4 drivers or their cars... most of the 'attitude' seems to be the other way around.

looks like i got just got banned for the first time!

Dude, that is damn funny. I'd giggle for hours if someone pulled that shit on me. Don't they email you if you get banned? Kinda senseless otherwise, offenders won't learn anything if they don't know what they did that crossed the line.

    Clutch

Spec stage 3, it's a six puck sprung unit. Not much chatter, not very expensive, and I'm loving it so far. Been running it for about a year now.

what have u beaten while stock?

Heh... my list is going to be really short - but my car wasn't stock for more than about a week, and most of that time it was in the garage getting basic maintenance. :)

    Best downpipe?

There is a very noticeable difference. I have the DDP, and it's awesome. Randy is a great guy, he gives realistic time estimates, and builds your stuff to order, so you can get custom bits if you want - like special coatings, extra fittings for wideband sensors / EGT sensors, etc. The cost...

Loki's new car! 56K will be sorry...

Thanks for reminding me about those stickers. I'm going to go send an evil email. Loki, they really need to see a pic of the interior to appreciate it... I have those ones I sent you when you were deciding whether to buy the car - mind if I post those up here as well?

    One Lady Down

Well, I've heard that our cars are tanks, but I guess someone finally found something big enough to take one down! :) My consolations on the loss, best wishes on finding another.

    Boost

Sure, the stock IC loses some boost pressure, but it still lets plenty through. :) I'm running the stock IC still. Not so great when it's hot out, but when the temperature drops, it works great, even at 17psi.

    Clutch

Myself and one buddy did the clutch replacement in my Supra in about 6 hours total. It's not that difficult - you'll need several feet of wobble ended extentions, and some well oiled Ninja hands for the bolts on the top of the bellhousing. Other than that it's pretty basic. I just used a...

Loki's new car! 56K will be sorry...

Picked up Loki from the bus this morning, then headed out to pickup his DDP from Randy & his car from Steve... so here's some pics. Pardon the completely guiltless shots of mine in there as well. ;)

Can 'thin' oil cause a valve to tick?

I've been corrected by IJ (kindly, in a PM) - who pointed out that a valve seating would make LESS noise, not more. I have no idea how I managed to neglect that little detail. I'll blame lack of sleep... ya, that's it, lack of sleep. :)

Intake, full 3" exhaust from the turbo back, MAFT & GM MAF, and a manual boost controller.

is spec a good clutch ?

Clutch replacement is fairly basic. As long as you have a bunch of wobble extensions, a good set of oiled up Ninja hands, some patience, and a little help from a buddy, you can do it in a day.
