    clutch change

Heat is usually from riding the clutch. Either that or your pedal is adjusted so that the clutch cannot fully engage. Did you pedal affect the clutch at the top or the bottom of it's throw?

    Coil Pack Ground Cable

If your coilpack sits on the stock rubber grommets, it requires this wire. I recently ran into this problem on mine, the screw on the coilpack side stripped and I wasn't getting a good enough connection there. The car refused to start. Replace this screw, and instantly the car starts as usual.

    Cinderblocks + My Supra = :(

It's not very often that I find myself in complete agreement with Boost, but here is one of those times. What do you suppose hurts more - being forced to pay for the damages, or being pistol whipped so everyone asks you what happened for the next two weeks? I'll take the option that hurts...

Grimm, any new imput on your new turbo?

No fuel mods - unless you count the MAFT's ability to throw more fuel in throught he stock system. It's great. Spool is slower an more controllable - my stock turbo would go from vacuum to 17psi in a fraction of a second, this one takes a few seconds and gives you a much smoother...

Hey guys! I was camping all weekend - the first Monday in August is a local holiday, so we always get a long weekend to go camping this time of year. No internet access in the boondocks, of course. :) Mario - I'll check when I get home to my tracking sheet, but if you sent in coin two weeks...

    RA21 + Dirt Road =

My condolences. I've wrecked my fair share of cars, it's always tough dealing with the aftermath. Of course, you could turn it into a real rally car - tear the floor out entirely and replace it with a tube chassis and custom floor, just weld the seats in place... :D

having a hard time removing the front main oil seal

You can buy a seal pick from a tool store - looks like a dental pick except much bigger. It will tear that seal out in no time. :)

    my xspower turbo

Geez, how many good informative threads must you two threadjack and destroy before you learn to use the ignore feature? Siman, put IJ on your ignore list. IJ, put Siman on yours. You can continue the fight using the PM system if you must. While you are at it, how about you both fly to...

    BHG question

This is what I have done. ARP bolts on the OEM (new, not the original one) head gasket at 100 foot pounds. Been holding fine for nearly two years now.

Link to a radio install walkthrough?

It's a 15 minute job for any ex-pro installer, minus wiring. Lots of room to work in there. Not many screws - 4 in the ashtray, then two on the driver's side of the center piece - one at the top and one at the bottom, IIRC. Unscrew the shift knob, pull the clips loose starting from the top...

Who is the all time badest movie character there ever was? Or your favorite movie?

Uh oh... I think I misread this. I thought we were looking for the 'baddest' villain.

Safe is zero across the board - Shawn got the basic setup to within stock AFM readings when they were initially designing this.

Who is the all time badest movie character there ever was? Or your favorite movie?

Ignoring ROTJ, the hands down winner for this would be Vader. Taking ROTJ into account, this award moves along to Kurgan from the Highlander movie.

    single sub setups

Check out DynAudio components, from Denmark. Heavy gauge aluminum voicecoils - and the coil on a 5 inch speaker is nearly 4 inches in diameter. I used these for nearly 15 years in my car, they just don't die. I've roasted just about every other brand of speaker - JBL, JL, Alpine, Kenwood...

We need some more of those stickers for the driver's side mirror that I saw at HPF: "Objects in mirror appear to be losing."

    AGlobalThreat: Car Stolen Please Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are going to dope someone's lawn, use fertilizer. Big letters that stand up an extra few inches unless they mow the lawn every 2 days is far worse than a dead lawn that they can't do anything about anyhow.

Oh, I still have lots of white ones left - I've only gone through about half of them, so you'll get them in white. I might be able to bring some down with me on the weekend and post them from a US Mail outlet, instead of from Canada post - might speed up some shipping to a few of you. I'm...
