    Supramania.com stickers now available

No worries, Dave isn't classified by any means. :) Mario, yours went out with the rest of the crew, it should be there shortly - admittedly, I think Tennesee is about as far away from me as you can get and still be on the same continent. Gotta get off my rump and send the next batch...

    A few questions

Don't buy new ones at the same rating. Either go bigger, or just pull your existing ones and have them cleaned and balanced, which should be much cheaper and still pretty quick.

    Eliminating the MAF

There was a list of cars that used the GM MAF - it was freaking HUGE. I got mine for an Impala SS. As long as it uses the 3 wire connector and is 3" or bigger, I think it'll work fine. You can buy an adapter from Full Throttle for the 5 wire sensors if you want, and it's not very expensive.

    how much did you pay??

It is crazy expensive. It was cheaper for me to buy a full set of tools and all the parts.

    Kelowna meet

Come on guys, if I'll drive to Portland, you should be willing to drive to Kelowna. Besides, Kelowna is much nicer. ;) Tom - if you leave at 3am, what time does that put you in Vancouver? Perhaps you can meet with the crew here and caravan up through the mountains together? Might be worth...

Need some serious advice ASAP! :)

What the hell? That makes no sense. What's wrong with your existing turbo manifold? The thing is cast aluminum, it has zero moving parts, I can't think of anything that could go wrong with it short of smashing it with a hammer. I'm more than a bit suspicious about the rear diff too - if...

    power seat back rake problem

First up, explain to the wife the requirement that you be at least 12 inches from the steering wheel in case of an accident. Refer to this site for details: http://www.airbagonoff.com/new_page_14.htm Secondly, the seats aren't that difficult to break down into their individual components, so...

    MAF-T done!

Yes, this will work fine. Make sure you are using a real BOV instead of the stock bypass valve or the replacement bosch units, however, as they do not play well when vented to atmosphere .

Grimm, any new imput on your new turbo?

Tom and I have the same turbo, except mine is minus the exhaust clip. I'm running a bit more boost on mine, 18-20psi on 94 octane. I run a MAFT plus a 3inch GM MAF instead of the Lexus AFM, stock fuel system, BIC divorced downpipe, and a Dr. Jonez manual boost controller. That's about it for...

    wtf i'm boiling over?

Bolts are more than sufficient for 15psi. For the difference in cost (not much) why not just go for the best anyhow?

    Any active NWesterners?

Heh... at the PacNW meet, after the drags, a bunch of the Mk3 drivers were waiting in the parking lot all lined up. One of the folks there was looking at the lineup and said "Holy crap, I don't think I've ever seen so many Mk3s in one place." It's funny, the meets up here are all Mk3s, we...

    Eliminating the MAF

Err... this may just be semantics, but still... MAF = Mass Air Flow AFM = Air Flow Meter MAF is not equal to AFM.

    Fast Help Needed

Wrong forum. There is nothing wrong with the stock HG. The torque specs on the head are the culprit - 58 foot pounds is NOT enough. Even if it does blow, it's not a big deal to tear off the head, clean both the block and the head, drop in a new gasket, and torque it to 72 foot pounds. At...

where to find oil return lines

Have you checked with John Lunsford - JBL? He makes them for the CT26, he might be willing and able to put something together for your turbo.

Gauging Interest : Complete Custom made dahboard

There are no structural parts for the dash - there is a big steel bar behind it, however it's not part of the dash itself.

    More than 1 issue.

That is the charcoal canister. There is a line that runs from it to the thermostat housing, then from there to the throttle body. This takes vapor from the gas tank and vents it into the throttle when the engine is at operating temperature. If any portion of that isn't working, or is leaking...

ANy free web page build downloads?

I use a text editor to build all my webpages. Works well when you know HTML to start with, not as much when you'd rather work in a WYSIWYG setup. Dreamweaver is the best I've heard of otherwise.
