You won't find much support for that idea here, I'm afraid. While a domestic engine swap done well will give you some things, it will also cost a lot more than you think - considerably more than building a 700 rwhp 7M.

I still haven't gotten FC to work - I haven't gone back and worked with it recently though, so chances are it's entirely my fault. I don't suggest using that feature in any case, I'd rather tune it higher than remove it entirely.

What mods are you running though? I can kick the snot out of them as well, but I'm also pushing 18-20psi through a 57trim turbo. Remember, the '02 trans am comes with 325 horsepower and 350 torque - and with no turbo to spool, it'll see a whole lot more torque much faster in the RPM band...

Prepare to get owned. You'll need some more mods before you can hang with a stock trans-am, never mind a modded one.

Sounds like it is operating correctly - mine does the same when the ignition is turned on. I did manage to get some trouble codes from mine at one time, but I had everything hooked up as described here: http://idriders.com/supras/MAFT/manual.htm
