    Supramania.com stickers now available

Holy - I can't believe you got them in 3 days flat - that's faster than I can mail something locally! I sent you some extras on purpose, I was concerned with the possibility that some might get mangled by the postal system between here and Germany. If they all turned out ok on your end, just...

    Knickers found in my car.

By the way, this is one of the reasons why you need to strip the interior out of EVERY car you buy and check for surprizes. Knickers found by the missus is one thing, baggies found by the customs drug dog is another thing entirely. As for revenge, when camping, drop a tape recorder in you...

    Overheating Nightmare !!

Block test is a good idea. If that comes back with a fail, you know the problem right away, no worries about any other tests. And if the engine was assembled to Toyota specs, with 58 foot pounds on the head bolts, there is a good possibility that you'll blow the head gasket sooner rather than...

    Help!!

Fuses are unlikely to be the issue here, if you get no power to the car at all, I'd check the ground strap from the battery first. Get a multimeter, set it to 12v, check the battery. If that has power, check from the positive terminal to the frame. If that has power, check from the positive...

head first dive hope it turns out good

Absolutely keep it and get it fixed up. Think about it this way. A modern day car with a warranty and mostly trouble free driving that compares to the Supra is going to cost you... oh, lets say about $30k. You spent 8k, plus about $1500 so far on your Supra. If you were to throw in the...

    Overheating Nightmare !!

Make sure the clutch on your clutch fan isn't dead. Make sure that your auxilary electric fans are plugged in and come on when the engine is hot and the key is on. Do you have a fan shroud? Do you have an engine undercover? Have you done a block test as well as the dye test?

Bubbling Noise (yes, I did a search first)

Worst case, yes, this can screw up your engine. Our heads are very long - the inherent problem with an inline 6 cylinder engine - and therefore they warp easily. If you overhead it, there is a good chance it will warp. Warped heads tend to blow head gaskets easier. Not like it's death to...

    Help!!

Sounds like the battery isn't hooked up yet? Or your battery is dead?

whats ur 1/4 mile time? 13.7@106.. good?

Yes, that's a damn fine time. That'll beat most of the cars out there. I ran 14.0 @ 100mph on winter tires. What was your 60'?

    1GGTE ? what is it

The 1G-GTE was the economy turbo model in Japan. Came on the GA70 model Supras, which are the thin body cars as opposed to our MA70 widebody chassis. They never sent it over here, so finding parts for a 2.0L twin turbo economy class engine in North America would prove to be interesting.

    Girlfriend thread

His GF found his thread, dismembered him, and buried the peices all over North America, then left clues for future treasure hunters to try to put his skeleton back together again. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Get a block test to check for BHG. Yes, there are several fans - one or two auxilary electric fans and the big clutch fan, which in your case might have a failed clutch.

Remember - when pulling the engine, don't forget...

Remember - when pulling the engine and tranny as a unit, don't forget to remove the shifter from inside the cabin. :icon_evil What a PITA. No permanent harm done, by the looks of things tho.

Can a car be broken in?

I think it starts pretty much in the middle. I've heard both ends - guys who reset their ECU at the track to get faster, and guys who refuse to do so because they get slower.
