dont sand it down whatever you do. call around to local auto parts shops and see if they resurface the rotors on site. if not they might send them out. you'll have to removed the caliper bracket (2 or 3 bolts) in order to get the rotor off (should come right off after the bracket is removed)...
well.... if your power steering stopped working and there is belt squeel, the first thing i would do is check the tension on the ps belt and see if there is a rock lodged between the pulley and belt. as far as the smoking, coolant smell, and dashboard lights..... beats the hell out of me.
doesnt sound too good. if the head was warped, i would have gotten a new one. but thats me. i go through the torque sequence at least 4 or more passes.

i really hope thats not the case with me. the motor and head are only 3 years old... its a re manufactured engine from jasper.
i cant find my compression gage... i just moved out and i cant find anything.

nothing is beyond repair. i just talked to greg from suprasport... he seems to think it has something to do with the valvetrain. good thing im building a new motor.
today im installing my new boss comp series turbo from suprasport. when i took off my old turbo (sp61gt), i noticed that there was oil dripping from the stock exhaust manifold. it wasnt completely coated inside, oil was only coming from cylinders 1, 2, and 3.

so are you suggesting bolt-on turbos arent "real" turbos? i understand that a lot of the cost thats included in the price of the bolt-on turbos is from the r&d to get it to fit in the stock location. but myself and im sure others would disagree with you. there are some very impressive set-ups...
i had the same problem and it turned out to be a vaccuum leak because the isc valve gasket wasnt properly sealing because i didnt clean off all of the old gasket when i installed a new one.
my idle is good now, but when i turn on the AC, my idle goes down.....??? what could that be? also my...
