you probably wont see a difference with a ffim until your making a lot more power. your money would be better spent elsewhere like suspension or brake upgrades. if your building your car to go fast.... you better be able to stop.

has anyone had any personal experience with these shops? i am also looking for a machine shop that can bore out the block and lap the head and block. but im looking for a shop that someone can personally recommend in the northern/central jersey area or parts of ny.

i used the one from HPF on my SP61GT and noticed huge difference in intake temps. in the fall when the outside temp was around 75F, it dropped the underhood intake temp an average of 18F. in the winter, its dropped the underhood intake temps and average of 20F. the only thing is that i get...
funny, i thought the same thing until i experienced that exact problem. i had a bad miss, then one day it was fine. 2 days later the miss was back. changed plugs wires and test the coil and all was well. i knew it was number 3 so i pulled the injector plug, and sure enough it was the culprit.
sounds like a good idea. i will place the order on thursday when the funds clear in my account. should i put a note in to you about the flange when i place my order? or will you know?

i dont have the stock elbow. when i bought the sp61gt it came with a downpipe that eliminated the need for the stock elbow. im assuming it was to increase flow. i just dont want to get the turbo and find out i need a new downpipe
did the turbo line up with the downpipe? i am gonna pick this turbo up, but i currently have an sp61gt and the downpipe that came up with it and wasnt sure if it would mate up to the dp.
does anyone know what flange is used from the turbo to the downpipe. im gonna get this turbo but i have an sp61gt turbo and downpipe and want to check to see if i can use this downpipe.
