Car doesn't start always always low on voltage.

just for shits and giggles, have someone wiggle your cps connector while you trying to start the car and see if that does anything. -pete

Car doesn't start always always low on voltage.

if there isnt enough voltage to start the car... it clearly wont start. your problem most likely lies in the wiring. could be a bad ground, or to much strain on your charging system. im no expert tho. i would check to see if you have the correct alternator part number. what is the voltage...

    Sneakypete's Bulletproof Powerplant Build

the issues werent really with the probes themselves, but rather the block. i finally found a block that was bored to .020 over. but when i brought it to my machinist, he said that the tolerances were close to the extreme. he said if he did the machining, he would aim to have the piston to...

in my current build, but i have .020 over probe forged pistons. my machinist said that the tolerances listed on the spec sheet are between 2 thousanths and 6 thousanths. the block i bought its overbored and the clearances are in the 5 thousanths range... close to the extremes. he said that he...

    7mgte running rich

doubt its the o2 sensor. some more info would be useful in diagnosing the problem. before you starting experiencing the problem, have you recently done any work or install anything new? what are your mods? have you tested the iscv (since the car ran after you unplugged it)? -pete

general rebuild questions, crank scoring, etc.

as far as the rebuild head, have a machinist measure to see how much it has been cut. i once bought a rebuilt head and it turned out that it was cut beyond toyotas specs and shouldnt have been used. and another time i bought a re manufactured motor where the block was overbored to the max and...
