Just ordered a Shaftmaster 1-piece Aluminum DS and Powerslot Rotors along with various Redline Fluids (Tranny, LSD, and Motor Oil).
Any recommendations for what oil i should use to break in the new motor?
if there isnt enough voltage to start the car... it clearly wont start. your problem most likely lies in the wiring. could be a bad ground, or to much strain on your charging system. im no expert tho. i would check to see if you have the correct alternator part number.
what is the voltage...
hahaha... i know man. i used to drive with big rims, but ive been through too many sets and want to use my money elsewhere. once this build is squared away, im def gonna buy a new set of 17x10 for the rear and 17x9 up front. i prob wont put them on till after the winter tho.

-I was running into too many problems with the Probe .020 pistons as far as tolerances go, so i broke down and ordered a set of CP .040 oversized forged pistons
-Ordered the Suprasport short shifter
-Received the BIC poly...

as far as the rebuild head, have a machinist measure to see how much it has been cut. i once bought a rebuilt head and it turned out that it was cut beyond toyotas specs and shouldnt have been used. and another time i bought a re manufactured motor where the block was overbored to the max and...
