wow.... that filter caught a lot of crap. have you taken the head off since you put the filter on? the reason i ask is that i notice whenever i remove the head, that the coolant channels between the block and head always seem to have some buildup in them. and i always use distilled water and...
i figured while the motor is out, that i would rewire my AC systems. some time over the years (probably previous owner), i believe the AC was hardwired. Meaning that the AC is always on. In order for me to get cold air, all i have to do is lower the temp... i dont have to press the AC button...
2 dogs and my guns guard the garage... hahaha. i used to worry about getting robbed considering i had over $3000 worth of parts in there. im glad its finally out of there (at the machine shop).

is the turbo new? from suprasport? which turbo? im sure youve already checked, but you have to adjust the actuator arm to raise the boost. my turbo which i got from suprasport was preset to 4psi.

i always use chunky peanut butter to polish my car and lights... the chunks of peanuts are a good abrasive. just be careful when doing the molding, the chunks like to get stuck between them and the car
Hey everyone. I am about to start my latest build. This is my first time rebuilding the motor. I just dropped off the block and head at the machine shop.
Im putting in Probe Forged Pistons (.020 over), Forged Eagle Rods, ARP studs, Titan MHG, new oil pump from Toyota, Trasko bypass filter...
i just dropped off my motor today with the instructions doward provided. is there anything else i need to let him know (such as filing the rings). this guy knows what he is doing, but i just want to make sure there are no loose ends

so i do need new AUX bearings. ill bring the oil pump to my machinist along with the new bearings for it. i prefer to get from toyota... but if they are too much ill try napa.
