im def in. i didnt know you guys were starting a club. my car should be running by then. just got the motor back from the shop, so once there last remaining parts are delivered, i should be up and running.
but ill be away aug 2 so maybe sometime after that.

while your in there, you get some new flywheel bolts (arp) too. and if you have the time, get your flywheel resurfaced if you havent already.
i finally got my motor back from the machine shop. you should stop by some time next week. i think chris might come by too.

the stock flywheel can be resurfaced or machine to make it smooth again. from what i understand, a lightened flywheel is rebuildable and can be rebuilt by fidanza (or whatever model you have) or yourself. im not sure whether or not they can be machined.

the pitting goes about .25mm to .50mm below the deck surface. they are black little spots on the deck. doesnt look like its a result of machining....
other than the HKS stopper, which MHG compares to the quality and sealing properties?
of course the stopper is backordered for 3 weeks. and i just picked up the engine from the machine shop.
i was a little concerned with the deck finish.... there were 2 or 3 little black "pits" on the deck. what effects if any could result from this?
or maybe something a little more custom..... how about a carbon fiber 3 gauge holder/mount for the center console. one that would replace the ashtray. i know im not the only one who has problems finding where to mount more gauges

hahahaha..... there would be little to no weight savings considering the cover weighs less than 2 lbs. and i would highly doubt that the whole housing would be fabbed.

maybe your just assuming that people who retrofit hids to their car have 20,000K bulbs or more. i know my stock headlamps sucked and i could barely see. i tried different types of bulbs and had no visibility. 6000K bulbs are close to stock and i dont think they affect anyone else on the road...
