Wow! just broke my motor mounts... not one, but both! [knock sensor question!!!]

Ya, I busted both mine - didn't notice until I lifted up the motor with a cherry picker, then the bottom of both mounts fell off. That's why I went to solids. They aren't hard to make, any machine shop could turn you out a pair in an hour. The dimensions are in a post by me in the reference...

In some deep trouble.. or so it seems?

I've never disconnected the battery before unhooking the ECU. Mine still works, yours should too, IMO. Does it still turn over?

UA testing- why WONT this work

There are no reliable ways to screw with this test. Drinking water will make you 'pass', but the test will show that you drank too much water, and guess how many reasons there are for that? They won't fail you THIS time, but rest assured the next one they give you will be your boss showing up...

    timing control

We really have no idea - the actual internal maps in the stock ECU are pretty much a complete mystery.

    Dual stock intercoolers

John had good results with this, I wouldn't hesitate to follow in his footsteps.

    oil everywhere NEED HELP FAST!!!

With that much oil, I'm going out on a limb and saying that it must be a high pressure line - which pretty much limits you to the oil filter seal, the oil cooler lines, or the turbo feed line.

    Staggered fit wheels

Ok folks, listen up while I tell you a story about search. Once upon a time, there was a site with a large membership, where if you asked just about any question, members would refuse to give you any information, and simply scream "SEARCH!" instead. Many members jumped on the Search Police...

    Staggered fit wheels

Cut that nonsense out. If you're going to cry search, you need to include some instructions and search terms that work as an example. That way you are part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

    IC Q's

IMO, the order goes like this: Intake & exhaust, boost controller, hardpipes & IC, fuel pump & injectors, fuel control, tuning, bigger turbo.

    My old school is showing

No, I'd still go for the click type. If I was doing something to 50 ft/lbs or less I'd use the beam... I don't think I've got the brute power to hold the beam type steady enough to read at higher torques.

    My old school is showing

Trying to torque head bolts while leaning over the engine bay with a beam type to 90 foot pounds is ... well, difficult. So I bought a click type as well.

WAY lean at idle. 18+ AFR's...

Have you plugged a voltmeter into the Vf1 & E1 terminals in the diag block and checked what the TCCS is doing at idle?

WAY lean at idle. 18+ AFR's...

Stock position varies, but the adjustment on that won't make your AFR change to the extremes you are getting.

WAY lean at idle. 18+ AFR's...

Might be a pretty serious boost leak. How much of your intercooler piping is still stock?

The $300,000.00 price tag will scare away most of us, I figure.

    What do you say to...

You guys forgot a few things. Point out your automatic climate control, where you set the temp and leave it alone - even the AC is automatic. That feature has never been available in a Camaro, not even in the modern ones. Targa beats T tops, every time, and I don't think the T tops were...

If you like your car, that is all that really matters.

That was YOU at the gas station ignoring me? Dick! ;) You should drive up to Canada for a meet, we'll show you what it's supposed to be like. Best group of drivers I've seen for sticking together, waving at each other, etc, is the Austin Mini folks. They are all in the same religion or...

I don't need any stinkin sunscreen

Best lotion you can get, and I'm NOT kidding, is in the baby department at Wallmart. It's for diaper rash. Try it.

I own every manual made for my car. Owners manual, TSRM, Haynes, and Chiltons. TSRM owns the rest.
