i know Melloyello used to spin to 8k without issues. Stock stroke
but i have harped on this.
S54 from BMW. Same 91mm stroke as the 7m. Yet they spin to 8k. If we can update the head. That means we should be able to get our motor spinning to 8k without any issues.
<-- knows ZERO people that call cars whips.
Only morons that use that word are the ones attempting to be "cool" with the latest stupidity to be spouted off TV.
Perhaps they should imitate a monkey jumping off the manhantan bridge. Now THAT would be cool and also be doing this entire world a...
lol
for all you guys and gals that continue to THINK it won't affect you think again.
What is the quickest way for a state to generate REVENUE every year on a continous basis? INSPECTIONS.
Folks it WILL get worse just because it is EASY money ;) mark my word. Soon all 50 states will have...
evans cooling.
y4ep heard of them.
Supposed to work fine but this coolant actually has a lower latent heat of vaporization and also the kcal that can be carried by this is lower than water. What does that mean in english. It can not take away heat like water does ;)
wait wait wait
if the car is retarding ignition. There is a reason why!
then people wonder why there are so many.. waahhh another BHG thread.. boohoo..
geezes.
well
3000 rpm and feathering.. i am surprised you didn't bog off the line ;)
the correct way is around 4500-5500 rpm and then modulate the clutch to prevent slipping but to achieve maximum traction. Of course as always it is easier said (or typed in this case) then done ;)
Linear?
It could be logarythmicl but if i recall the MAFTPro can have the voltage input for afrs. So put that in and regardless if it is exponential, linear, logarithmic. It still should read the appropiate AFR's reading.
malloynx
don't get to carried away pulling fuel. You pull fuel you advance timing.
also keep inmind that since the maftpro does not directly control injector you will still hit FCO.
ISC is not cheap and there is a reason for it.
unlike every other single idle air control/idle speed control motor out there especially GM and Ford. On the 7m, stepper motor is actually an expensive piece from a manufacturing standpoint. It is a stepper motor of the unipolar design (6 pins)...
don't listen to these guys.
i was driving the supra in 6 inches of snow from 94-96 and then from 98-02 without zero issues. never ditched the car and I am from Miami, Florida!!
As long as you don't drive like a complete moron the supra will do fine.
looking at thepicture the KA would not bolt up either. Not because of the center bore> Look at the bolt spacing. THE KA is almost symetrical on the bolts. The 7m is staggered.
extra money to have them installed. Oh yes.
They have to enlarge the valve seats by the same amount> Then have port work done to take advantage of the bigger valve. Spend money else where unless you did all the other mods.
