    black smoke.. you are running stupid rich at that point. I wonder if your decel diaphram is working that is on the throttle body if it is working. stock you mean ZERO mods correct? No BOV venting to atmosphere?

    no for that to happen the water would have to have gone through the cast iron CHRA. Doubt that is the cause. Though did you pressure check the radiator while you had the engine apart?

    one fo these manifolds was put to the test using AEROSPACE techinque for inspecting welds and what not. Needless to say that the welds were lacking in MANY spots.

    N/A manifold? You mean intake manifold? Question is why when you can go a ron or other custom FFI and gain more power and much better throttle reasponse that way?

    do it right the first time of course there is always PLENTY of time to do it right a second, third, fourth etc time un less you die. Then. You should have done it right the first time and enjoyed the car without worry ;)

    slight rust on new DS

    the end that slides into the tranny i thinik has one seal. You might want to see if brillo pad with a bit of oil will take it off. Then cover the rest of it with oil :)

    there is a reason why AEM, Motec, Haltec, electromotive all put a DISCLAIMER on the stand alones that basically states: "This part is for OFF ROAD USE only." Again standalones do thing differently hence why NONE of them can legally be used on the street.

    think about that... what would the good ole EPA say about that much unburnt HC coming out the tailpipe?? Trust me it is not igntion cut. There was a thread where one guy controlling the injectors with a haltech went up to 10k rpm. Stock ecu was still controlling the ignition ;)

    no completely cutting fuel will not do anything zero fuel means ZERO combustion.

    i think don't count think of it at a logical standpoint. If we have ignition cut. Fuel will still come out of injectors and out the tail pipe unburned. What does the EPA NOT like????? Also what would happen the MINUTE we turned igntiin back on with UNBRUNED fuel in the exhaust?... 2 step...

    that has ALWAYS been the case in closed loop operation (meaning low load, cruising). SAFC, old VPC, MAP-ecu SUCCUMB to the TCCS at anything but WOT.
