    yes. the lower the number the more rich, the higher the number more lean. tissimo- while you might be able to do it, i still tune for 11.5-11.8 whether its a bone stock supra or a highly modified supra w/ a gt42.

    yep i did it. a couple of them actually. cant say how much of a diff it made since i did a ct upgrade at the same time. however, w/ a 10* clip on the turbine wheel + the ported elbow the lag was very little. i still have one left if you would be interested in it. dave

    tried to retorque my head

    shouldnt ever need to retorque studs. when they are torqued down, it takes quite a bit of force to get them to move. id leave it alone. if you wanted to know whats up you could always do a leak down test.

    keep in mind dyno a/f will be slightly richer due to loading differences. i shoot for 11.5-11.8 on the dyno which will yield ~12:1 on the street. where are you in tn?

    well that would have been good to know. yes!! you are clamping the output freq. once you clamp it no extra fuel is added. you can still tune around it tho. it shouldnt make that big of a diff at the lower rpm tho. i say again.... set the maft to 440cc.

    yes, rich not lean. i then adjusted base fuel pressure down and then tune w/ the afc.

    ive been tuning a long time and have never seen adding or subtracting fuel at any point a problem. what i would do i set the maft back to 440cc and go from there. i had mine set on 440cc even w/ 680cc inj. like i have said before, x-man is in va and runs a dyno center (CWF dyno services)...

    the bov function (dec air) on the afc does not work w/ our cars since we use kv. if it is tuned right it will reduce the likelyhood of the stalling.

    well i say def not the airtex. nowhere in the ad (that i can find) does it list its flow rate. also, ive never even heard of them and wouldnt trust my car to such on a vital piece.

    Can I weld a mild steel bung into HKS DP?

    best way to tell is if a magnet sticks to it- its steel. if it doesnt- its alum. yes mild steel is fine, expect $30 or so to have it done. if its off the car its cheaper of course. muffler shop is your best bet. be sure you clean and hit the welds w/ some paint so it doesnt rust. dave
