well i updated to 4.63 and had to re-tune every thing again. first start up and my car was running 9.6 afr's at idle i attempted to adjust main scale didn't seem to help at first, but after i got the tuner pro to load the settings off the maft, the start emulatin i was able to lean her out some...

so how much weight did you lose? i know my car is still faster with full interior and a full tank....:biglaugh:

well i remeber wiring up that purple wire to some thing, but nor as you described.. while i watch my log's, aux input 2 voltage, it's pegged at 4.98 volts. so im going to rip the glove box back out in a few days and write down each connection i made, and see if any one can give me some input..

i say hg is gone at a few good 10psi pulls. that turbo flows alot better then the ct-26, and i lost my hg w/ arp's at 14psi.. w/ct26

i think this is half my problem, since it's all over the board, and im having to tune start up, idle cruise , mid and every thing, it's making the processe soo over wellming, how did you find this vf? are you jumping the daig connector and watching that voltage, or is there a connection...

well i got ahold of a bhg tester, and i checked for one, and first test, sucked up air from rad, and fluid stayed blue. second test, bubbles through the blue stuff, and it stayed blue. third test, it changed mirky yellowish, but i determined i sucked up water/coolent since it's a mirky...

are you increasing or decreasing main scale? if she keeps goign rich like that on idle i would decrease some, slowly till you achive target, and the targer af, i gave up on tring to learn that i can figure out what i needed to be watching, that was months ago when i was still one of the...

after seeing this thread, i spent a little time hand tweaking it, i have it almost perfect now, where the front half sat in like 1/2 inch of so.. and now it's less then 1/8 inch so it's almost flush. i guess dnt worry about breakng it and be gental..

you must get discoureged easy.. dont be affraid to get your fingers' in there. when you get that ring compressed, try to wrap it in, or as we in the auto industy say "roll it in" kinda like putting rings on a piston.

well starter contacts would be alot cheaper then replacing the starter, i might have a spare starter laying around.. maybe i will mak a right up on replacing these contacts so people aren't affraid of doing it.. ne ways, next tim it happens tap on the starter with a ratcher / hammer and see...

mine works fine, but the front of it, sits in so it's not flush like the back, i thnk it's an adjustment thing but not positive..

i would assume that would be tps enrichment, i have added and removed from that and didn't see a noticable change while loggin. but could just be me..
