there is some sort of spark control now with the maft pro,
i have yet to snip the ristor to even check timming. let alone hook up the rest of the wires for the timming control..

i would say it would hurt spool, and make your power spike on a little bit more,
but if that cut out opens when i should i would say get ready to watch that boost gauge pegg when it opens,

i just picked up a rodknock car.. knowing i was going to dump more money into fixing the motor then what i paid for the car.. and im a skilled mechanic.
i pulled the motor, dissiable every thing, and took it to a machinist that i have so far...
when i have about 50%(possible less)tread left on my rear's ..
if i stomp on it from a dead stop with ou break boosting, my car builds 10psi by 3k, and by 3.3-4k starts wheel hop or scooting sideways.. she shift's and i lost traction at the begging on second,
i have 3.93's and i am...
careful on runnin her to hard to earily..
nothing like replacing the hg, twice or 3 times. and having to rebuild stuff you didn't want too..

ive said this before. but dam i am glad i wanted a turbo supra from the beging.
i bought an n/a and went to town on it.. my first pass was 14.7 and with some tunning and a few times to the strip i got it down to 13.65 @ 103.5
altho i stayed automatic, the car is still a blast to drive...
