    well i ran into a hicup.. the bearings i recived from toyota for the oil pump drive shaft are the wrong inside diamiter. and are correct O.D for the holes. i have been using wheel cylinder hones making my best attempt to remove enough bearing to get the shaft in, it's a long slow process...

    so you got ride of the 86.5? all turbo now huh! lol since you got a few extra bucks, i would sudget a wide band and a form of tuning.. i liked the maft pro, and my brother dig's it too, so thats our path.. hope you figure it out soon and start having pounds of fun.

    MBC Location?

    i have mine with about a foot of vac line in both directions, i have it mounted just to the right of the pass strut. next too the fuel pump relay. i also have a cab cable so i can adjust on the fly.

    WTF is the deal with out end links???

    ive not had a problem with them, always just put an allen in there and used a wrench and worked just fine, i usualy break them loose first.

    SIEZED ENGINE

    some thing i lesarned recently about getting rused or broke bolts out is hesating, and then while hot drip candle wax on the broken bolt and let settle, then re-heat and apply more wax, sit again, then try to remove the bolt. the perifine does some thing and free's up bolts.. /rant.

    what about a jdm supra 1ja auto kick down cable/ line pressure cable.. worse case senairo you could take the line off and take it into a specialty shop (winch, hydrolic shop, bike shop?) im definitly sure there's a way to make this set up work, even if you set up a linkage on the under...

    yeah i know it's not the smoothest. but had to get a throttle some how, and using the stock stuff with the n/a valve covers wasn't going to work. im going to be making a new bracket soon that will put the cable right below the cam and fix the angle it pulls from. any ways, 130 miles..

    i think it's missin on a pair.. and runnin on four at idle, but runs fine off idle, possible a vacume hose could be a culprite? i figured if i pull each plug and look for what apears to be the dead cylinder then figure it out from there.. compression test.... then check if that cylinder...

    no problem. there a pain to instal, and literly have to get the outside one perfect when harmering them in. sadly my instuctor mest up my first inner so they purchased me another set. im not sure if you can get those bearings in singles or not. but i have an extra out side.

    ahh dang typo's, yeah i know what there for. i didn't plan on soldering the nipples, it would make it nerealy impossible ot reove the valve covers.. i would be makine my own piping that looked sotck buck worked with the system..

    opps! lol i tell you , new motors have some blow by! im jsut really glad the turbo we picked up recently was in decent shape, it's the 3rd turbo the motor has had and not driving any miles on.. any ways, i plan on soldering up a nice stock looking set of pvc pipes out of stock assorted...
