You mean the sponge like filter thing that just hangs under the throttle body? How do I check that exactly? It doesn't look like it's blocked or anything.
Well I replaced my BOV with a Turbosmart plumb back and it fixed the idling issue and almost fixed my stalling problem I test drove it and it didn't stall out or almost stall out then when I got home I went up my driveway and when I was getting to my spot I shifted into neutral and it stalled...
Got my Viper alarm finally installed with remote start and installed a Turbosmart BOV that I got from a member on here works great and fixed my cammed out idle but when I am scooting up the car still stalls or almost stalls.
I've heard bad things from that site when I did a google search like not honoring warranty to getting bad motors and such. I'd look around for more reliable sites.
I had a coolant leak on my transmission bell housing and it was from the hose that connects to the back middle of the motor you can see it by following the spark plug gallery and the hose is right there sticking out. If you replaced the hose, you should have replaced every hose when you had the...
Yea I tried doing it myself and said, "NOPE" and got my brother to help me I got a second wind when I did that because before I got to putting the head on I was just dead tired, my body ached, my head hurt, everything was hurting but once I got that head on it was like I drank 10 energy drinks.
Story is when I start my car up it idles high when it's cold like normal then after like 5-10min it starts to drop and when it gets warmed up a bit the idle sometimes bounces like 200 rpm or so it sounds like I have big cams or something. Then when I back out or moving up a little bit like...
Anyone got any ideas on where to start with fixing my stalling/idle problem? When I start up my car and it warms up the idle bounces a little bit or when I am backing out or moving up a little bit and shift back into neutral or engage the clutch it will stall out. I plan on spraying brake...
I agree, love how my car sounds now but I am having other issues like stalling or low bouncing idle but it's probably a vacuum leak somewhere. If I am like backing up or slowing driving forward getting on and off of the clutch it will stall out or struggle to idle.
Well I removed my boost controller and put in my manual one at stock settings then as I was hunched over the car I was staring at the blow off valve and remembered that if you can blow through it then it's dead unless I am mistaken. I pulled it off and blew through and felt it come out of the...
Well the car started right up tonight I figured it was also too hot because I've had problems like this when it's a hot day and I've been driving a lot but it did stall a few times at first then I think the ECU adjusted, I removed the negative battery terminal, and now it seems fine.
I totally get the AFM but wouldn't it go wonky on me when I cleaned it instead of randomly acting up now? Also it won't prevent the car from starting right?
