I need some help using this thing. First, I have the 550cc injectors and Lexus AFM mod, 3in divorced downpipe open wastegate, and a boost gauge along with the blitz boost controller. My problem is now that I got rid of my fuel cut at stock boost I tried turning up the boost with the controller...
I wouldn't dare attempt any subframe work with my luck it will take me 2 weeks to just remove it and it all works out perfectly fine with installation in 2 hours lol.
I found out last night when I removed my old injectors, that top grommet wasn't letting me seat it in the fuel rail so I removed it and it seated and held in place. Last night or this morning technically, I installed 550CC injectors and a lexus AFM MAJOR pain in the ass for me but it always is...
I used Vaseline and got the hose on the lex afm, I just came back from a test run and HOLY SHIT she hauls ass now. Strange thing is when I turned up my boost controller to 45% it still showed I was boosting around 6-7psi but I think it pulled harder unless it was just me. Still trying to figure...
That did solve the fuel leak but now I am trying to get the damn Lexus AFM on the accordion hose and I just can't get it in there, that's what she said. Any tips? Do I have to cut the hose a little bit to get it to fit?
Oddly enough I don't have clearance issues I tightened the fuel rail down and the clips aren't being squeezed or anything. The problem was a crushed O ring I saw a flattened area on the ring, replaced it with one from my old injectors, I replaced those O rings when I did my head gasket they...
Yea I am thinking I messed up the O ring or it got out of place when I push it into the fuel rail. I want to know for sure though with these precision 550 injectors do you have to have the top grommet piece on that sits below the O ring? Like I said when I had it on the injector would simply...
Well I installed the injectors tonight and went to fire up the car it was turning over but never fired up. I checked the fuel rail area and saw a puddle of fuel under the third injector right by the throttle body. I hate my life.
550CC Precision injectors came in with a Walbro pump from a member on here, new O rings included woo. Plan on getting new tires, alignment, and then install these bad boys along with the Lex AFM and see how she runs. Hopefully it goes smoothly but with my luck it won't and the car will blow up...
Cool beans, I do need to clean the underside of my car though, badly. When I installed my downpipe I looked like Jason Statham in Transporter the oil scene.
Well my car doesn't have any rust, underside is literally covered with grime and such I guess it's been protecting it lol, and has 91k miles on it now.
I can set the temperature the problem is when I set it to like 74 degrees it still blows as cold as 65 and only gets warm/hot when it's in the 83-85 degree range.
I can't completely control the temperature from 65-82 degrees it's tits cold and from 83-85 it's balls hot. I live in Houston, A/C is a must have in any car here it only gets cold for like 2 weeks out of the year but we do have a few months of glorious weather, targa weather as I like to call it.
