The 2jz ac compressor on my aristo engine was a good size bigger then the 1jz a/c compressor.. I had to use the 1jz a/c compressor to fit the 7m lines ontop..
I have a 2jz but same concept.. 2.5" piping with Fal fans, fits pretty good.. covers fit right over it, just had to cut a few holes in the covers for the pipes..
Well today went to the track to get some numbers with my car.. I just installed hks coilovers the day before, so wasn't sure what to expect.. Never launched a car on anything but stock suspension before.. my goal was to get 12s on 'wastegate' and street tires (275/35/18 contiCrap sports lol)...
what size tire on those 10.5s? Looking at my 10" +35 wheel you could probably run an 11 wheel with a rolled fender with a 285/295 I'd assume.. with the right offset ofcourse..
yes it is important.. why unplug it?
a map based ecu needs Manifold pressure and Air temp to figure out how much air is going into the engine... with no air temp the car would run like poop
no its the furthest away from the oilpump.. if there is sloppy clearances there wont be much oil pressure at the end.. so gets worn the most which leads to knock..
syncros have nothing to do wit hthe gear popping out.. either the gears are moving around (trust washer? not sure) or the gear is worn down BAD or a bent/broke shift fork not engauging the gear all the way..
I never had any problems with my ebay ic, I ran 18 psi through my t67 on it and it never really got over 100-105 *f iat at the end of the 1/4 here in hot humid fl.. I've seen it flow 700+whp on the dyno as well.. good enough for me
