Well today went to the track to get some numbers with my car.. I just installed hks coilovers the day before, so wasn't sure what to expect.. Never launched a car on anything but stock suspension before.. my goal was to get 12s on 'wastegate' and street tires (275/35/18 contiCrap sports lol).. The night before my wastegate was running 12 psi in 1st, 13-14 psi in 2nd and 15-16 psi in 3rd and 4th... but today it was lower.. I didn't look at it and my logs kept messing up so not exactly sure, my afc-r peak on all low boost runs was 1.01 kg/mm (14 psi).. I also did another run at high boost (16 psi on my log) that I completely f'd..

got MAD wheel hop and throttled... over all I was pretty happy, durring the run I swore it was like a 14.0 at 101.. but was wrong (doesn't help that I raced a well modded 03 cobra on et streets.. lol)

little bit of wheel hope and bogged a little on the launch.. before the run I readjusted the rear shock dampening from ~ 20 (dont remember ) down to like 13 (took 7 clicks out)

bogged and rode the clutch a little bit more (let it rev back up some after bog before fully engaging).. soo close to that 12..

so next run which turned out to be my last since they closed the lanes early for some reason.. i turned the boost up to ~16 psi on my logs (1st & 2nd only hit 13-14).. completely f'ed it up.. bogged bad and spun when boost came on.. got off the throttle got back on but was at 6500 so just hit the revlimiter, tried to grab 2nd but didn't go.. so waited a good 1/2 second and threw it back in 2nd and took off no 12 that time

bad run but had a 27 mph spread on the 1/8 to 1/4 mph compaired to my 23-24 mph spread at wastegate..

i had radials (bfg 255/60/16s on 91 wheels) that I was going to use on the next pass but they closed early was mad!! so no 12s yet oh well need to work on my driving and i'll get it..

Not bad at all. Our cars are pretty close in times, but you'rs is faster right now. My best time in an 1/8 was 8.73 at 87.77 mph., but I spun pretty bad through first and second. I'll try it again later on with my DR's...............Jay

I seen 2 of the runs and it seemed like an effortless run. I know that this car will be in the mid 12's as is with no problems.

haha yea.. Goals with the car on the twins is low-mid 12s on street tires and high boost and mid-high 11s on radials.. just 18 psi and pump gas.. maybe turn them up with a little race gas then maybe I'll add a little juice and try for a 10 on the twins (we'll see how close I get on boost alone, dont want to really spray more then a 75 shot)..
