Stop comparing the off the shelf piston specs from company X v. a custom spec'd piston for the same company X. When custom spec'd. The pistons stop being the same! regardless if the SAME company was the one that did the off the shelf v. the custom spec.d piston.
Ross might be $500 for the...
As turbojoe stated. You question is broad and VAGUE.
We need to know a couple of things.
1. Budget?
2. Are you doing any racing? If so what type?
3. What are you looking out of a standalone to do for you?
4. Do you have MANDATORY emmisions testing where you are at? If so, what is...
and so is weldon and where they count. Ultra high horsepower and pressure based fueling. Hell even the Bosch 040 or inline 044 are leaps and bounds better than the walbro, yet very very few run them. The difference beside high psi performance. PRICE. Eitherway, you don't see people ponying up...
scratch the number off the product? So did G-Force. So does Techtom. You are not telling me new information. It is well known and documented they did that to prevent a rev eng of what they did! ;)
But since you insist on not verifiying what the sticker says. Good luck to you as you will need it!
I will caution you. These ECU were not 100% effective. G-Force ECU were known to blow an engine on a good tune. Hence why G-Force ceased existing. All three companies shared the rev eng. So I would definetly not place all your money on that thing working for your setup. Regardless of what...
the parts should be crated or palleted before even appraoching any shipping company. This will minimize the cost to just the actual shipping.
Try craiglist. Truckers sometimes check on that depending on thier route :)
it basic Bernoullis principle.
for the a given inner area of W @ X air volume = Y velocity. Reduce the area of W but leave X air volume and Y velocity MUST increase.

basically the java applet shows you what I am describing.
not for anything but I know with the targa off. The supra is a wet noodle. How helpful those are I have no clue but you could always try and see what happens.
I know both the jz series along with the uz series.
search supraforums, erin carpenders as stated by MRSUPRA. Once you read those. Get back to me.
actually I am in a good mood today and I am feeling generous.

At th price, I am not willing to find out.
The Denso pump from the MKIV is more than capable. A HELL of alot more efficent than the walbro and unlike the walbro, it does not fall flat on its face past 75 psi.
have you, yourself ever ridden in a car that had 400rwhp much less 500 rwhp?
so because the in thing is that people start jumping off a cliff, you will be next in line too?
Never understood the monkey see, monkey do mentality. :nono:
actaully no, he is correct
take the BMW. That head flows. A LOT. No amount of port work will make the 2jz flow anywhere near as much as, say an M52 head. Not even remotely close.
Red7m
WHY!
Aftermarkets ECU have come a LONG way from that. At this point and for the cost. It is almost pointless to do that mod. You minus well get a full fledged standalone and be done withit!
Whasian
it is basically as you stated. Mines, like TechTom and G-Force where the ONLY company to ever reverse engineer the TCCS and do a modification to make the TCCS programmable. The Mines VX-5 TCCS works exactly like stock but it is programable. BUT NOT BY THE END USER!
There is only...
just MY OPINION and nothing more.
How people think that they can buy a car that is a minimum of 16 years old, crank the boost up/ up the power and expect zero issue is, basically undescribly STUPID/IDIOTIC. Seriously!
The issue is not the 7m. Never has been. Even though the 7m has...
