    Water temp gauge

Well, Toyota engineers think the thermostat housing is a good place to take the coolant temperature. Is your temp gauge a 12 volt gauge?

    my speedo doesnt work

The wrong drive would make it inaccurate, but it does not stop it from working. The cable is two pieces. The cable spins a drum, which is trying to overcome the resistance of a magnet. It is likely that one or both of the cables is froze, or the cable is disattached from the speedo head.

    another blown head gasket

Supramacist, you can get a "BHG" on a properly prepared engine with a metal head gasket. Often it is the symptom of another problem. Overheating the engine will seperate the head from a block. The head and block are dissimilar metals. It is just like an old turn signal. I know of at least...

    Crank Seal Help

The parts system is automatic with the VIN as indicated. You don't need to investigate the part number. I am not refering to Autozone/CSK brand or Napa.

    boost question?

I wish I had a nickle for every time this came up.

    Who knows this?

Yeah, since the position and speed are primary inputs for calculation, that certainly can cause a drivability problem. Failure to start is usually when engine and cam timing is way off, not just 4 degrees. Good point.

    TPS problems again...

I thought the cut was more like 1700 RPM.

Good to hear your woman is ok.

    a nice partybag-full-o-problems :]

You are correct about the meter being superior to the test light, especially when some circuits are very low amperage. But a test light is ok on a starter.

    Who knows this?

Well, you can pretty much ignore everything else that person says about the car. Unless that isn't what he said.... The camshaft position sensor-CPS-tells the ECU engine position and speed. It has nothing to do with warm or cold. Incorrect signal for engine temperature is being sent to the...

    fastest n/a 1/4 mile time

Nice run. If you are using nitrous to feed the engine, then it isn't natually aspirated. The fastes all motor I know of is 13.8.

    Engine bay clutter?

What is sad is I don't think some people get the obvious sarcasm. Throw the manifold in the trash, and he says good idea...

It is Ilene, come on. ;)

    another blown head gasket

Consult the machinist to figure compression. I don't think you can get 11.5:1 from just decking. Higher compression pistons would also be needed. The block and head must both be flat, not just the head.

    Code 22 A headscratcher.

Well, obviously the circuit is not ok. 22 indicates that the ECU is not recieving the signal in the correct range, likely open or short. The car needs to run richer when the engine is cold. That allows for easier ignition of the flame front when cold. Hence, your cold start problem. When the...

    code 24, 31

Do you have a lot of black smoke? 24 and 31 are common power. So you might rethink and check that AFM wiring again.

    CRC AFM cleaner

I was going to say quit over oiling the K&N filter. And we were told not to clean in any way the KV meter. For the reasons stated.
