    a nice partybag-full-o-problems :]

You need a new clip. Or a used one in good condition. It does not need to be a Supra starter, just a Toyota to be a decent chance at a match.

    valve breathers vs. catch cans

If you removed the PCV, sludge will build up quickly. And yes, that sludge will ruin a turbocharger quicker than the engine bearings. But they aren't far behind.

    valve breathers vs. catch cans

The sludge reduction I think is more important than a few horsepower.

Why do people add an "i" to Gracer?

Why do so many in the internet community call the Supra Mark anything, when Toyota never gave it that indicator, like they did with Corolla?

And the car does not have a mass air flow sensor either.

    valve breathers vs. catch cans

Yep. Do as Sawbladz suggests and learn a little about all the things on cars, and maybe you will stop throwing them away. I guess a catch can is better than dumping it on the ground. edit: The PCV system is one of the greatest additions to the engine that has been devolped.

How to extract power from 7mgte?

As long as you realize the most cost effective way, and the best way have nothing in common. Most cost effective is to shim the wastegate, and strap on a low dollar nitrous kit, and free up the exhaust.

Curious--How many Maft Pros in MkIII

Have you ever used the VPC? Based on this thread and the others about it, I am thinking MAFT-Pro is far superior in every way, especially price.

It shouldn't matter, but I would defer my answer to an electrical engineer.

what is this thing? old knock sensors... and where do these wires go.

Get some clearer pictures, not so close so the camera can focus. The first picture; it isn't a Toyota part. Looks like aftermarket BS. Probably part of a noise maker maybe. The second is too poor to tell anything. I take it that is the knock sensor. Yes they fail. And depending on where...

    a nice partybag-full-o-problems :]

Good job on a proper explination of what your symptoms. There are two wires on the starter. A big one and a little one. Which are you refering to, and what is both of their conditions. If your big wire was loose, you could have some burned fuses as of now. Those burned lights may or may...

    Starting Issues

The big clunk is the solenoid on the starter engaging the pinion drive. But your starter motor is not creating its field current. That would be my guess. I have seen it before. Does the clunk come from under the intake manifold?

    gota quick question

Go to the parts counter at Toyota and ask him. He might tell you Toyota, and that it isn't available to you. Ask Jeff Lange, I think he said he is sitting behind the counter.

Can a CPS output be dependent on temperature?

A lack of fuel pressure will make you go lean, but you would probably notice a lack of power before you hit a misfire. As JJ already indicated.

wheres all the guys from the begining

I also did not arrive to the "internet community" until 2002, although I was buying Supra go fast parts as early as 1995 for the 7MGE. I never heard of Mike Urbano until he passed. Nice looking ride. And an SUV has nothing to do with it, an irresponisble driver does. It could have been a...
