So, for a while I will be doing things that are more maintenance and support. One TEMS shock leaks, and they are original. They have to go. I might do the Tokiko Illumina 2, since I Tokiko makes a bunch of OEM shocks for Toyota anyway. They are a bit stiffer than stock from what I have read. One...
Well, the coil doesn't fire because of magic. Although some people might view electromagnetism that way. The cam position sensor puts out a signal that the ECU has to read to operate the EFI system.
This is what a Supra should sound like. As for music, choose your own soundtrack. :) Air conditioning and nothing else. Nice and quiet. Leave your fart cans at home.
Hmmm, somebody that isn't full of it contributed to a wiki article. This is sort of correct. That is the old way. That is why your oxygen sensor switches. It is supposed to do it. Newer cats are made to work with A/F sensors, or what most of you call a wideband.
When the A/C is running, it is taking heat from the cabin and putting in the condensor. From there, it radiates to the atmosphere, right in front of the radiator. It is going to be hot when the A/C is on. This should help...
Inspect all the mounts you can see, especially the trans. If you have the means, the clutch needs to be inspected. I didn't see if you say there is hydraulic fluid leaking from the clutch system.
Wide angle picture would be better, so an answer will have to wait.
The routing and location is perfect. The material is questionable. It needs to be for high heat, and that looks like fabric weave.
Is there something wrong with stock loom? I just looked at mine and don't see any thing...
Is the clutch slave leaking, or any place else? The hydraulic clutch is self adjusting up until your disc is nearly worn out.
So you get a clunk when accelerate and decelerate?
Adjustability is not what makes a coilover. Having a coil over the spring is what makes a coil over. Saying you want coilovers is like saying you want to replace your ignition with a DLS.
You can try an at home injector service. You remove the fuel line and try to pump in a lot of injector cleaner. That is how an on car injection service works. The return is blocked and the supply is cut off. Then the fuel rail is fed with injector cleaner.
It might. I can't say I have tried. But it will burn up. There is a reason Toyota went to a remote mount. What are contemplating? Relocation isn't a lot of money. You can buy all the pieces from Summit Racing. The highest piece will probably the adapter if you get something like the Canton piece.
The injectors get power from a fused circuit. They are grounded in the ECU.
You will not get the injectors to fire or the ignition without power to the ECU and the signal from the cam position sensor.
