the whole story is this.... My first supra was a 1990 supra turbo... and I crash it, and the repair was to expensive so friends gave me and an idea to buy another supra so I can move all the parts from the one i just crash to the new one... And a bought a 1988 na... so I bought some peformance parts... and the dash wires, ecu, front wires, and and engine wires for a 1988 turbo... the only thing that is from a 1990 turbo is the engine ignition, coil sparks, motor, knock sensor, intake manifold, and ignitor (ignition module)... the tach and speedometer too... the only part that I don't have is a HAC sensor... I check the energy source and it has energy on inyectors, coil sparks, but I don't have energy on the ignition... friends tell me that it can be the module, that is from a 90 turbo and not from a 88 turbo and other friends tell it can be the cps... I really want to run this car It has many performance parts.... I really need help

Basically I talk to some friends and they told me that take out the ecu... the coils and the ignition and check it... because they told me that that is very strange since every is in place every is conected and check is really weird but the told me that probably it will be the ecu... or ignition since there is no pulse on the injector and no sparks on the coils

The injectors get power from a fused circuit. They are grounded in the ECU.

You will not get the injectors to fire or the ignition without power to the ECU and the signal from the cam position sensor.

Well, the coil doesn't fire because of magic. Although some people might view electromagnetism that way. The cam position sensor puts out a signal that the ECU has to read to operate the EFI system.

Ok suddenly it start on Monday... but on Wednesday when I try to start it... it didn't start... ohh and the check engine light was on when the it did start... now people tell me that it can be the ecu or some wire... but basically I don't have fuel presure, no spark, no pulse, no check engine light again

Here are some pics of my motor and some of my doubts on the electrical stuff

Now the problems
45993_149403461751653_100000459992103_342448_1259972_n.jpg

That the engine wire harness does two cables that are cut... I really don't now where they go...
45993_149403465084986_100000459992103_342449_2126608_n.jpg

Here is a cable that I really don't know where i goes I really just know that the engine start and run without it...
I'll try to check the crank sensor and maybe if I can check it I'll take it out and send it for inspection on a store that I know and also ecu...
Everyone can tell me there opinion or idea in anything...it is a work on progress

It looks to me as though the cut wires are the knock sensor wires. They would not cause a no start but would cause an engine light.

Also as for the no start you have power but have u checked for ground. A lot of people think power is the only thing to worry about, but ground is just as important. Make sure the ground wires that go to the head on the exhaust side near the rear of the engine are hooked up and the group that are attached to the lower portion of the intake are hooked up

I did not say check the entire harness check you main ground points I mentioned before. Also just so you know 89+ dont use the hac sensor its built into the computer. The other thing is the cps it gives your spark and pulse reference signals try wiggling the wires and see what happens.

anyway I just take the ecu out just in case... but anyway I’’ll continue checking everything incliding the cps grounds ect... But now I have to fix the clutch slave since it don’t want to shift...
