5w-30 or 0w-30 is best, lower first number the better for start up flow (when all the wear occures).
Replace the gasket on the drain bolt (extremely cheap and really should be changed everytime) and check the surface on the pan to make sure it's flat. Easily one of the more annoying leaks...
Gasket is cheap as hell ($3 at autozone).
