yes that is what I meant, but saying MAFT is an SAFC and more doesn't address Grim's comments that it really isn't as good as having an SAFC, which is what my question was

this is the first i have heard of this... I was thinking of replacing my lex afm with this setup. I'm alraedy near 400whp, w/o an SAFC, just upgraded fuel maps from Reg Reimer..... so maybe I should just go the SAFC route? I really like the AFM tracking this unit does and wanted it for that...

It wasn't cryptic, I think they are just asking you to findout what you can about it by reading the multipage thread here on it, then checking out the manufacturers page. No flame intended, just check these resources out first.

oh i thought you were kidding or something.... cause you have 522 posts i just assumed you were, no biggie. Yes, you can only lock TEMS into hard with an aftermarket controller (like my HKS, but a few others are made, getting hard to come by) otherwise the sensors will put you into hard only...

I'd STRONGLY recommend you not getting this. I had the turbo version on my last 91 and it was a piece of shit, starting rusting the day I put it on. The materials are total crap ass shit. HKS must have outsourced this one to China, cause its the worst product I've ever seen from them. just...

Quick question re removing the AFM. Once you remove the AFM completely, what do you do about the AFM code that will be thrown? Also, is there any advantage, other than getting rid of a component, to using the boost control if we already have electronic boost control.
