Yes, I have high flow fuel pump, digital fuel fuel pressure gauge, adj FPR, but no AF meter or SAFC. You think I should up the fuel pressure and see if it lowers the temps?
Other than that, anyone know a good shop in Houston that I could take the car to to have it properly tuned?
Its a new one, Mazda Cosmo three rotor fuel pump
Yes it is in the exh. housing, in teh predrilled tap for the gauge.
so are you guys saying that 1600 is too high for 1.1 bar, and that I'm not flowing enough fuel?
Hey everyone,
My car has an HKS EGT gauge. It has the sensor mounted on the HKS sport turbo EGT tap, so its getting a pretty true reading. When I'm cruising down the road at around 3k or higher RPM, I run arounf 1300-1400 F. When I'm pushing 1.1 bar for more than 5-6 seconds, I get up to...
OMG! Damn some people just ask for it, don't they. Is that real? At least he used two, safety first!
That is friggin hilarious. I think I'm gonna try stacking some soup cans under the suspension brackets, that should hold 'er good...

I friggin live in houston, so i have no excuse and would really like to come out with my car.

As I know everyone already knows, do NOT try and change the LSD oil w/o a pump. I knew this going in, and bought what I thought was a bulb pump, but when it came time to change it tonight, friggin thing didn't work worth a damn, and I already had the old oil out. Lets just say its a damn good...
MDC, I'll take one of those o2 sensors when you get them in, if guy above doesn't want the one you found.
PM me with payment info when you get a chance.
For the two behind the mudflaps, where do you space it so it doens't contact the metal seam that has the factory jack points?
I've always wanted to jack right on the LSD, but have been afraid to, that doesn't put any odd stresses on anything? So say I jack the LSD, where woudl I put the two...
You mean you put the lifting cup right on the extruded metal seam hanging down at the factory jack point and lift the car by it, esentially putting the weight of the car on a contact point of about 2mm(width of seam)X2mm(width of metal cup edge)?! Aren't you worried its going to fold the metal...
All,
I thought for sure this would have been debated a few times on here, but a search for jack points yielded nothing...
I just got a new floor jack, so its goodbye to the old crap bottle jack. Question, with this new jack, it has resparked my age old dilemma of where to jack the mkiii...
since we are loosely discussing headlamps, has anyone here ever mounted two small side by side round lamps in our housings? I saw a pic of this done on an mkiii once and i thought it looked great. Anyone done it/ have any info on it?
thanks
Hey everyone,
Hoping someon knows offhand what size the drain/fill bolts are on the LSD? I slid under there looking for the right bolt, and my largest socket (20mm) didn't seem even close to fitting, especially on the fill bolt, that thing is retarded big.
So what is it? 24mm? 26mm...
I've had almost teh exact same problems, and it happened right after reoiling the FIPK as well. hmmmm... sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. and its just like you say, sometimes comes on at idle after a decel, but once back on the gas it goes away? And this is with a lexus AFM.
I think this answers my question: I obviously don't want a .40 plug gap, so I'm gonna go with the .28 gap even though stock is I believe .031 or .032 right? As these iridium cannot realistically be regapped, I'll just go with the .028 (and hope they are all actually gapped to that out of the...
Thanks, I would appreciate it if no one else has an answer. I guess the main source of confusion comes from suprasport.com, where they sell the 5 step iridium plug with the "-11" and the 6 step plug w/o the "-11" designation. I thought this was perhaps due to NA/Turbo differences, but...
