    Turbo stopped working

Right on Mike! Trying to guess what the "Patient's" problem is one of the most frustrating things I see here...most times I won't even try to answer until a thread develops and the problem becomes more clear. Most of the time, that never happens...the problem never gets answered and/or you...

    Iridium Spark Plug ????

Just looked the NGK's up on their site...BCPR6ES is the stock plug w/ std heat range. NGK is backwards on the heat range...meaning BCPR7ES is one step cooler. Here's the tech info from NKG: http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinfo/spark_plugs/techtips.asp?nav=31000&country= Still trying to...

    Iridium Spark Plug ????

The only reason I'm thinking about switching is I had a pretty hard run dusting a Honda Ricer last night...nice guy tho...he waved when he took the exit of the freeway. Anyway, I hit boost again right after that and got the same high rpm miss that I thought was fixed from the re-gap. I...

    Iridium Spark Plug ????

Before I re-gapped mine to.027, 16-18 psi. IJ has mentioned that irridiums can glow plug on a hard run. I'm actually thinking about switching to the Autolite coppers.

    Iridium Spark Plug ????

At stock boost, they will. High psi boost on the std gap plugs = high rpm miss.

Interesting read on home brew race gas

Why thank you IJ :icon_mrgr My plan is to use a 1 gal gas can (a metal one) and fill outside, in daylight with a nice big funnel. Gonna use a long tranny funnel to get it in the tank...def don't want to get this nasty stuff on the paint!

Interesting read on home brew race gas

Hey Guys - was able to buy Xylene in a 5 gallon can for $9 a gallon at Sherwin Williams. Toluene is a lot harder to get (prolly cause of the Meth thing), but the Sherwin Williams Commericial store has it downtown. It's closed now, but hopefully Toluene will be a bit cheaper.

Got a Larger oil filter on today

I'm using a Wix 51342...it will not fit in the stock location...it will screw on the housing fine, but it's too long. Go to the Wix site and look up the equivalent of the 1.3" longer PureOne PL20195 like the other guys are using. Here's the site: http://www.wixfilters.com/ I did it using...

For the Supra...I paid less than $5 each + shipping for the Wix filters I use at the above link. I'm not using the stock filter though...it's about half again larger.
